"you and I both know it can't work,
its all fun and games,
til someone gets hurt,
and I don't, I won't let that be you..."
-Stuck In The Moment {Justin Bieber}
THERE'S SOMETHING soothing that comes from playing an instrument, like an ice cream cone on a scorching hot day, or a hot bath after an extremely long day.
While most people resort to alcohol, drugs, or anything that helps them detach themselves from their thoughts or problems, I pick up my guitar and start strumming. I would've taken my chances and went to the park to play a bit, but the chances of dying of pneumonia from the rain outside was good enough to keep me rooted to my cozy bed.
Of course, this obviously had nothing to do with accidentally running into Zac or anything...
Picking up my pen from beneath my leg, I scrambled down some lyrics that popped into mind when I had dazed off, letting my mind run on and on about random thoughts. Unfortunately for me, this 'random' thought had to do with a certain butt wipe.
I groaned from frustration and flopped backwards on my mattress, staring at the ceiling that has currently piqued my interest. The lack of air in my room was definitely getting to me. Or maybe it was the lack of seeing someone.
Nah, definitely the air.
I crawled to the window and took a look outside, feeling happy and disappointed at the same time. It had finally stopped raining, but that also meant there's a chance of running into him again.
Although...we can't run into each other if I find a secluded spot, completely free of any distractions.
Making up my mind, I walked over to my closet and plucked a hoodie from the hanger, deciding to stay in my sweatpants. It wasn't like I was going to the mall where people from school might see me. So in conclusion, the bum look is totally in favor right now.
I walked over to my bed, grabbed the guitar and skipped down to the door, yelling a quick 'bye' to my parents, only to remember they had gone out to some business dinner.
LA, lets see what you got.
