Guess Who's Coming For Dinner

Aidan's POV

I think I'm more nervous about tonight than I did when Georgie and I went on our first date. Tonight she's actually coming here to eat, with Maci and I, and that is one big step that I've made. The apartment is sparkling, I've spent most the morning making sure everything was neat and tidy, plus it helps that Cade had taken Mace to the park for a while. There's nothing worse than trying to clean when you have a little person under your feet the entire time.

Maci chose the menu for tonight, first we will be making pizzas and then we'll be having apple crumble with custard for dessert. She loves it when we have our pizza nights and she had even asked me if Georgie can help make them. When I told her that Georgie was coming over for dinner she was super excited, to that I'm grateful for as I want to ask her an important question before our date arrives. Yep, Mace is calling it her date as she overheard Cade and I talking about it, such a cute moment for my baby girl.

"Daddy, me play with Meme and Evie." Maci shouted as she ran through the living area, I was in the kitchen setting up all the things needed for our favourite pizzas. I chuckled as I saw her bounce in and jump up on the chair I had near the bench for her to stand on.

"Sounds like you had fun." I smiled at her, Cade and Mia then walked around the corner. Cade had the same grin on his face, the same one that's been on his face since his first night with Ashtyn. I was shocked when I learnt that she had a daughter but honestly think it's great for the both of them. It's strange seeing Cade almost literally glued to someone, Ashtyn and Evie have almost been over his place each day since then as well.

"Yep, Meme let's go." she looked up at me and then to Mia and then they were both gone within a blink of the eye. I can never keep up when those two are in the same room together.

"What time is Georgie coming over?" Cade asked as he leaned against the bench and then stole some of the grated cheese I had in a bowl.

"In about an hour, now stop eating that." I slapped his hand away when he went for another serving. I stopped doing what I was doing and looked at my twin, he looks different today.

"You're glowing." I chuckled as I leaned in a little closer and looked at his face, he grinned and stuck his hand back in my cheese and  shoved it in his mouth.

"Ash is staying over tonight. With Evie." he grinned, even saying her name his whole face lit up even brighter. 

"So in other words, when Mia and Evie go to sleep, Mummy and Daddy will be having a little fun of their own." I wriggled my brows at him, he gave me this cheeky smirk and nodded. 

"Yeah but they won't know that, I still have to find a way to explain to Mia that Ashtyn is Daddy's girlfriend." I knew he accidently slipped the g word there, he turned the other way and he cursed a little under his breath. Well this is news. 

"When did that happen?" I asked him and held a smirk of my own, I moved out of the kitchen and placed a few of the decorations Mace made at daycare onto the christmas tree. Cade stayed where he was, I knew he wanted to steal more cheese or maybe even the mushrooms I had cut up.

"I asked her while we were at the park, I just can't keep away from her and I want to be with her all the time, it's more than just sex Aide and as hot and awesome as that is, I want more." he sounded like he was in love with her already, I chuckled when I saw him gazing into space with a goofy look on his face.
