Izzy's POV (pic of Izzy)
"I could stay here all day." I let out a content sigh as I stretched out over the towel I was laying on, I blocked the suns rays from my eyes and turned to face Georgie.
"I know, thanks for today Izz, it was just what I needed." she gave me a smile and then looked back up to the sky and closed her eyes, I did the same. Georgie and I have been chilling down on the beach as we soaked up the warmth, and some free time while I had the boys in daycare, it was just too bad that we had to leave.
"That's what friends are for." I smiled even though she couldn't see it, it's taken me almost two weeks to get her out of her house but I finally got there. Her and Mark had broken up and she slipped into some kind of depression that involved a lot of ice cream and about a truck load of tissues. I never thought that they'd break up, it's just a shame that they decided to call it quits, they were really good with each other, but I guess it happens.
"Fuck! If we don't leave now, we're going to get stuck in traffic." I jumped up and brushed off the sand that was sticking to me. I don't really want to run into all the school traffic, much worse than peak hour, those mums are crazy ass drivers.
"Why don't you come over for dinner tonight? The boys love having you there." I asked her as I weaved through the traffic, this place and these idiot drivers make it so easy for road rage.
"I don't know." she shrugged, her head was resting against the window as her hands fiddled with the strap on her handbag.
"We're having taco's." I said trying to convince her, I know she loves them, I just want her to get out of that funky mood she's put herself in.
"Fine, you've twisted my arm." she giggled, well that didn't take long at all, I thought I would've had a bigger fight on my hands. I was too busy concentrating to notice Georgie poking me in the thigh with her finger, what the hell?
"What? that hurts you know." I said as I rubbed my leg, I glanced her way and scrunched my face up in confusion.
"Are you having some kind of fit?" I asked her, her head is jerking back and forth and her eyes are doing the same thing.
"No, but if you don't pull over soon, those cops behind us will think you're trying to give them a high speed chase." she said as she pointed behind us, my eyes flicked to the rear view mirror and my eyes went wide, fuck! I quickly looked at the speedo and groaned, fucking hell.
"Damn it!" I growled as I slowed down to pull over to a spot that was safe to do so, I am in trouble, I reckon I was doing nearly twenty over the speed limit.
"Flirt with him, see if he let's you off with a warning." Georgie chuckled as she placed her bag on the ground and then flipped down the sun visor to look in the mirror. I just looked at her, here she was depressed over a break up and now she's adjusting her bikini top and her hair in the mirror.
"Just pass me my licence, Dec is gonna kill me." I sighed and made sure the window was down, I could see one of the police officers making their way to my car. Georgie passed me my purse and I knew he was standing there waiting to say something, my eyes flicked to Georgie, she's checking him out, unbelievable.
"Isabella I don't have all day." I groaned and sat back in the seat and tilted my head up so I could see his face, of all the cops in the city, my brother pulls me over. I rolled my eyes and passed him my licence, he was already writing stuff out on the ticket.
