Y/N's POV

He said I could go home tomorrow...yay right? No...no...

I never want to go home, it's not because ai like the hospital, in fact...I hate this place! Sick people everywhere and it's just gloomy and sad. However, at home...it's worse. All. The. Memories. In. One. Place.

I take my IPad and start listening to one of my favourite songs, Ready For It by Taylor Swift (above). I move my hands and bob my head to the beat of the song and sing along.

I sing with feeling, this song has no link to the situation I'm in but it makes me feel better about my current situation so I sing with all the feeling and passion ever.

"Nice singing" said a voice in front of me. I look up from my IPad and realise a doctor was talking to me, I smile at him and thank him but what he asked me to do next shocked me...101% shocked me.

"Could you sing in the waiting room because there's so much tension in that room as everyone is waiting for results and diagnosis for our patients, we would really use you and your singing" he said, I was taken aback.

"I-I-I...th-thank you! I'll th-think about it" I stutter. "Errrmmmm...we would actually appreciate if you could do it..." he said again, I nodded my head and in the spur of the moment I agreed, "when?" I asked...

"Errrmmm...now..." he said again.

With my mouth gaping open I nodded...why do I do this to myself?!?!

I laugh nervously and the doctor quickly says, "oh! And if you were wondering, you are completely well again! So you could go home... or you could de-stress a few innocent souls..."

Being the caring, kind and "cool" person I am I decided to put other people before myself...

I mumbled to myself as I was led to the waiting room filled with people, I stood on a stage and there was a seat and a microphone...
