29.Singing For The People

I looked at all the concerned and slightly confused faces staring up at me. I take a deep breath and closed my eyes...

"It was so nice throwing big parties
Jumping to the pool from the balcony
Everyone swimming in a champagne sea"

I sang and sang and the people looking at me started to smile and wave their hands happily, this encouraged me and I sang with more feeling than before.

"And there are no rules when you show up here
Bass beat rattling the chandelier
Feeling so Gatsby for that whole year"

People laughed and smiled, happily starting to sing with me. I close my eyes and continue to sing...not noticing someone had walked up onto the stage with me.

I heard another mic connect and another voice singing with me, I turned my head and saw Oli singing happily with me.

The people whooped and cheered as we harmonised together.

Ending with f/c, Oli and I bowed and walked off stage. The doctor rushed up to us and congratulated us and said I could go home now, YAAASSS FINALLY!! WOOP WOOP 🙌🏻

I'M HOOOME!!! FINALLYYYYY!!!

I run up to my room and plonk myself onto the bed, Oli walked after me smiling and said, "your welcome!"

I looked up at him confused and asked, "welcome for what?" "The window!!" He said laughing, ohhhh he fixed the window!!

"You owe me!" He said plonking down on my bed next to me, "no I don't!" I said before wrestling him down on my bed as we laugh happily!
