Chapter 3

Yannie's POV

*Kringgggg kringgggg*
*Kringgggg kri--

"ARGH! I'm still sleepy." I mumbled.

It's monday today. Monday means work and I'm feeling like not coming to work today.

Maybe I should resign? No one wants me to work after all. It's just that, I have nothing to do with my life.

My Dad owns a company. All of my brothers took Business Administration as their course in college because of that. Dad wants me to take that too but, since I'm the only girl and I love writing, she let me took Journalism.

Okay, back to reality.

I grab my stuffs and made my way to the bathroom. Suddenly, Hanbin comes in to my mind.

He's handsome. Yes. But he feels distant. I mean, he distance himself from people. I wanna make friends with him but I just can't approach him.

I still remember... The day we met was awkward. I looked like a fool talking to him because he's not even responding.

But despite of that, I can feel that he's nice. I hope we could really be friends, at least.

I walked my way on my work. Yep. My work is just walking distance. I think it's just 500 meters away?

I just arrived at work. My co-workers greeted me and I greeted them back. They were nice. I have no problem dealing with them.

"Yannie-ssi!" Somi called. I know it's her. She's my best friend.

"What a miracle. Why are so early today, huh?" She blushed. Oh gosh. I think I know what's going on.

"So who is it?" I asked raising my brows. Hmp! She must've told me! I'm her bestfriend.

"Jiwon-ssi..." She whispered.

"Mwo?!" (*What) I almost yelled.

Kim Jiwon is a newbie in our work. Somi hated her the first time they met so I am totally in shock when she the reason behind those blushes are him!

Oh my gosh. I can't believe this!

"Uhm... I just realized that he's kind and thoughtful and gentleman... plus he's handsome. Kyaaah!" She squealed.

I slapped her arm.

"Watch your actions! Someone might see you," I whispered in a screaming manner.

"Hmp! Whatever... I better get going," She rolled her eyes at me.

I just laughed at her. Wow. I can't believe that she likes Jiwon. I mean, it's only days since we've met him. Well, she's Somi at all. Believe me if I say she will announce that they're dating after 3 days.

I know her so much.

I get my coffee and proceed to my desk. The company I was working is named 'YG Publishing House'.

I'm the Editor-in-Chief in the house so I have this one of the highest positions in the company. Well, I'm the one who edits out the books that are to be published.

But before those books come to me, everyone is making sure that is fully polished. My job was easy right?

We release different books and series every month. We hire writers to make stories. Those are the real brains of the company! Without them, we will not be able to produce one. Well I'm here. I love writing too but my head aches thinking of the plot and the ending of my story.

Good thing I was able to get promoted easily.

They should let me do these on my home. I mean, sometimes it takes only an hour for me to finish my tasks. Working in here doesn't took too much time. There are some incidents that I don't go to work because there aren't any books to be edit.

I took a sip on my coffee after polishing the book. It is ready to be published! Yay!

I got up and fix my things. My job is already done.

I got home and change my clothes into shorts and hoodie. I wanted to get out and breathe some fresh air.

I didn't bring anything but a wallet. I feel like walking today. Well, I'm planning to go to Han River today.

I kept on walking until I felt tired. Maybe the idea of walking isn't good at all? Ugh. Good thing there's a mini-stop. I walked inside and sat in the chair. Yes. Air conditioner.

I checked the time, it's already 5:38 in the afternoon. It's almost dark but it's okay.

I decided to bought some chips and drinks. I covered the hood of my jacket to my head and continued walking until I reached the beautiful Han River.

"Woooooh!" I shouted and threw myself in the bed of green grasses.

I stare at the starless sky of Seoul. Yes. They do have starless sky. Not everyday but most of the time, especially during winter. The thick blanket of soft clouds are concealing their glows.

*Kkrrshh* The grass moved. It seems like someone is here too.

The distracting sound got my attention. And of course, my curiosity kills me.

I stood up and walk closer to the person. After reaching him, yes he's a guy, I recognize his face immediately.

"H-hanbin-ssi?" I asked.

He turned to me with his eyes almost popping out of its socket. Hmp! Why is he always like that whenever he's seeing me? I'm a bit disappointed.

"W-what are you d-doing here?"

Hanbin's POV

"Woooooh!" Someone shouted.

Argh. So noisy. Just like the girl who caused trouble at me.

I moved away, making noise.

The person seem to walk closer to me. I'm nervous. Not in a scary way but in a worried-like way. What if it is that girl last Saturday? Ah! Erase. Erase. It couldn't be her.

Stop thinking about that girl, Hanbin!

"H-hanbin-ssi?" A familiar voice called. I slowly faced her, yes, she's a she.

My eyes widened after seeing a familiar face.

It can't be! It's the noisy girl!

"W-what are you d-doing here?"

I mentally slapped myself from asking a stupid question.

Calm down, Hanbin. It's only that girl! Why are you so nervous, and worried, and scared? You're overacting! Stop being so obvious. Stop being dumb.

It's only that girl.
