Chapter 4

Yannie's POV

"H-hanbin-ssi?" I asked.

He turned to me with his eyes almost popping out of its socket. Hmp! Why is he always like that whenever he's seeing me? I'm a bit disappointed.

"W-what are you d-doing here?" He asked. I laughed after hearing his question. Like, what kind of question is that?

"Uhm, resting? Letting the time pass by? Boredom? I don't know," I scratch my head.

"Wait, why are you so shock?" I laughed a little. He didn't respond nor show any reaction.

He stand up so I held his arm to stop him from walking away-again. I know he's going to do it.

"Why are you avoiding me? Do you have any problems with me? I mean, I just want to make friends but you keep on walking away as if I have a contagious disease."

I gasped for air. Woah! I never explained this long to someone on my entire life! He must be blessed!

He just 'tsked' and position himself into a comfortable seat.

I mentally smiled. Finally, I made him stay. I won!

"So, I'm going to repeat my question, Why are you avoiding me?"

I heard him sigh. Hope I'm not annoying the hell out of him yet.

"You. Are. Noisy." He replied, emphasizing every words that comes out of his mouth. Hmp.

"Ok, so whatever. Uhm, do you want some?" I get the bag full of snacks and hand it on him.

He took it, thank goodness! He got some chips. I was going to get my favorite drink, Pepsi, when I felt his hands on mine.

I removed my hand and looked away.

"Uhm. Uh. It's okay, take it. Uh, I... I have a lot of uhhh... you know, stocks in fridge. He.he.he," I faked laugh. Gosh! This is awkward!

He just shrugged. He didn't respond, as usual.

We finished eating chips and drinking colas. I asked him if he want some yogurt and he gladly accepts it.

I opened mine and lick the lid. I felt uncomfortable because I can feel he's staring at me.

"You lick yogurt lids too?" He asked. Wow. Just wow. For the first time! He speak first! Record breaking!

"Uhm... yes? Why? Is there... something wrong with it?" I replied, not really knowing what to say. He shook his head off as an answer.

I just shrugged and enjoyed my yogurt. I heard him murmur something. I looked at him and found out his having trouble opening the yogurt's lid.

I smiled and get his yogurt from him. I opened it EASILY. I almost slap him for being weak. It's only a yogurt lid. My goodness.

"Here." I handed his yogurt back to him.

"Uhm... thank you. I wasn't able to open the lid because my palm is a bit sweaty," He explained. I nodded and just laughed, "Sure, sure," I teased.

"Are you doubting me?" He shot me a glare. I tried to hide my smile but myself is betraying me.

"No," A chuckle escape my lips which made him frown.

"Whatever," He replied and started eating his yogurt.

I watched him eat the yogurt and found out we share similarities in eating yogurts. He opens the lid and lick the yogurts off of it. How cute.

I looked at my wrist watch. It's almost 8:00 pm. I didn't notice the time! Gosh. It's already late!

ARGH! You promised yourself to stay here only until 6:45 pm Yannie!

I left Hanbin and walked faster. Or should I say, run faster.

I felt someone grabbed my shoulder and stopped me from running.

"Pabo-ya, (*Hey fool) stop running will you?" My eyes widened as I realized that it was Hanbin. Why is he following me?

"Do you know that it's rude to left someone while he's still eating?" He tsked. My face turned into a big question mark. So, what now?

"I'll just walk you home, don't worry," He assured and started walking.

Dugdug. Dugdug.

My heart says. I held my chest to stop my heart from beating. I thought came in...

No. It's because I'm tired of running. Yes. It can be.

I shook my head off and ran after him. I thought he's going to walk me home? Why did he left me just now?

"Yah!" I shouted when I reached him. I just earned a chuckle from him. Argh.

Silence filled the atmosphere as we walk together. No one is talking. I don't want to initiate the conversation because I might annoy him again. Sigh.

"Uhm... By the way, can I know your name? Uh-eh-- I mean we're sort of friends right now but I still don't know what your name is." I turned to him. He's scratching his nape while his face turned bright red.

How cute.

"Ah yes! Uhm... My name is Yannie!" I showed him my eye smile.

"Nice meeting you, Yannie," He replied and we laugh together.

Woah. This is the first time I heard him laugh.

"Uhm... Is there... something wrong with me?" He asked awkwardly.

"Oh.. Uh-eh no... I mean... nothing. Hehe." I replied uttering. I showed him a peace sign.

"Hahahaha." He laughed again.

"Eh?" I asked.

"How cute."

"N-ne?"

"Ah... nevermind."

Cute. Who's cute? Am I cute? What?! N-no. Oh!

'It's you. There's no one here except to the both of you.' My brain teased.

I blushed at the thought. We stayed silent while still walking.

I can't help but to glance at him. He's a big mystery. But then, I'm thankful because I've discovered a lot about him today.

"Were here," I said and stopped walking.

"Oh. Uhm, goodbye?" He's touching his nape again.

"Goodbye," I replied.

I ran inside and lock the door. I touched my chest.

My heart is beating fast.
