Chapter 21

Yannie's POV

Time flies fast. Hanbin already got my Dad and brother's blessing. The decision will be mine on when we'll be official.

Today is friday and everyone's busy in the house. Dad wanted to celebrate Hanbin's achievement. Like, wow. I haven't experienced that even though I ranked first in school. Dad surely loves Hanbin.

Our helpers prepared Filipino dishes while the koreans and I prepared Korean dishes. I make sure that my cooking is still the best as ever.

It's only 5:00 pm when we prepare for foods. Because this is a feast, a fine preparation is a must. My brothers are grilling pork meats and hotdogs. They also grill fishes and it smells so good that I'm already hungry.

After finishing the cooking sessions, we asked the helpers to prepare a table in our backyard. They also put light bulbs and such. We took that opportunity to take a bath so we are fresh and clean before we eat.

The plates and dishes were set on the table. We prayed first before we satisfied ourselves with the delicious meal.

Everyone's enjoying the meal. We are sharing stories like from cultural differences and histories. It's actually nice to see my family getting along with my friends very well. I am blessed to have such in my life.

"Ah! I am so full. Thank you for the meal," Kuya Loki said while rubbing his tummy.

"Thank you for the meal," We said in unison.

"Yan, pwedeng bang ilibot muna namin si Hanbin? Sandali lang kami, promise!" (Yan, can we just walk Hanbin around? We'll be quick, promise.)

"Okay. But make sure na hindi kayo iinom ha," (Okay. But make sure that you guys won't drink.) I eyed my brothers.

"Promise," They said in unison.

"Wait! I'll join you guys," Jiwon raised his hand and ran to the boys. So it's only me and Somi who are left in here.

The helpers volunteered in cleaning but we insisted. Somi and I do the chores while the boys are out and probably having fun right now.

After doing the chores, we decided to go to the living room to watch cartoons. We are currently watching Doraemon. I'm laughing hard because I remember Stray Kid's Jisung here. He's really good on imitating Doraemon.

The boy went back after their business. They came in like nothing happens. And because I'm a curious cat, I asked Hanbin.

"Ya Hanbin-ah. What did you outside," I whispered to Hanbin. He's sat on my side and started telling his story.

"Jinjja?" (Really?) I eyed him. His eyes widened a little then shook his head up and done.

"Promise," He even raised his right.

"Okay," I shrugged.

I checked the time on my phone and it says 8:30 pm. I already feel sleepy so I told everyone that I'm going to bed. Somi followed me because she's sleepy too.

I washed my face and brushed my teeth before I went to bed. I took out my phone and check my Instagram. Nothing seems special today so I decided to turn it off.

Somi is too busy on her phone. I think she's texting her boyfriend. I closed my eyes and hummed myself to sleep.

I opened my eyes and check my phone.

♪ And just realize I'm still fighting ♪
