Jaylon POV August 10
Once father was done inspecting the boys, he dismissed all of the guards, had us sit in front of his desk, and quickly made Jathos appear. He explained the situation as quickly as he could to Jathos, who then proceeded to take an unconscious Ambrosia into his arms to give him comfort.
"Father, I don't understand why you are so worried. I understand the fact that they were almost taken and almost hurt, but they weren't." He sat down in his chair and put his hands under his chin, his face set in a serious expression; which was concerning considering how carefree father usually was.
"If Avery or Ambrosia had been hurt then we would've had a problem on our hands. Not because of you two but because of me. I suppose I should've told you this earlier but whatever, no time like the present. You know that my love life hasn't been the best in the time I've been alive. I probably have a ton more children than I can think of, but the ones I do know about are absolutely precious to me. Most of them I can't interact with due to the fact that they're half human. So when Jaylon was born, I was so happy; I thought I had finally gotten a bit of my life in order, I had my first son, with a woman I loved; just to lose her due to complications. When you brought Avery here for the first time, I saw a possible future. I saw him and you, Jaylon; surrounded by children which looked so much like the both of you. Then I saw Ambrosia, carrying a child of about the same age, whilst Jathos was carrying a much younger one. I came to the conclusion that they were your children. My grandchildren. I swore I would do anything in order to protect that future so that my children could have a bit of a more successful life than my fucked up one. Today's events almost stopped that future."

3rd Person POV
The silence in the room was almost deafening. Each individual letting the spoken words settle into their minds, but none reacted. They were too busy thinking about the possibilities.
Jaylon had the thought of his children in his mind. He thought about how Avery would look pregnant. How he would look nurturing the little ones. He would bet his life on the fact that Avery would probably be one of those overprotective mothers. The one who wouldn't let their children out of their sight for more than 10 minutes. The thoughts were nice; amazing in fact. He was absolutely overjoyed knowing it would happen soon.
Avery also thought of the children. His children apparently. He always thought of adopting some, but the thought of having children with a man he loved was amazing. Loved? Did he love Jaylon? He always knew he had deep feelings, but love was foreign to him. Since his parents left him in an orphanage, he's never felt the caress of a mother or the love of a father. He's never felt, fraternal love, for the orphanage had an aura of every man for himself. He was scared that the feeling would betray him. Scared that once he truly trusted Jaylon with his heart, he would change; he would no longer be the nice and loving man who rescued him, instead, he would be the man who took him from one hell to another.

Avery POV
But what the heck was I thinking?!!! I haven't known him for long and sure I didn't get the best of starts with him, but once I got to know him he's been nothing but amazing. I looked over at him and saw him looking intently at my stomach. I also looked down but didn't see anything out of order. If he thinks I'm hungry, then he's wrong. All of today's events have taken everything out of me. I have no clue how I'm still awake seeing as how I'm exhausted.
"I don't mean to overwhelm you with everything, but I just want you guy to know that even if I'm an annoying, immature, hyperactive father; I love each and every one of you. Whether you have my blood or not." This was a nice moment. A moment I haven't experienced in my life. Maybe, this is what it's like to have a family. "And I know each and every one of you love me. So don't worry about saying it back."

Jaylon POV
Of course, my father wouldn't be my father if he didn't ruin such a sweet moment in our lives. I half expected it to be honest. But right now I don't have time to worry about him, I have to worry about my lovely, who seems close to collapsing at any second.
And true to my prediction, as soon as he tried to stand up to leave he almost fell and would've if it wasn't for my fast reactions and my ability to freeze his body. I went behind him and pulled him into my arms. "Just relax baby. You must be exhausted from today. Don't worry your pretty little head, I'll take care of you." I felt his body loosen unto mine and picked him up. "If you'll excuse us, someone needs to take a rest."
I took us into my room and laid him on my bed stripping us both and laying down next to him. My cutie was too out of it. His eyes were almost closed and his body was limp ever since I picked him up. "Jaylon."
"Yes?"
"Would you like that?" I knew what he meant. He was asking if I wanted what my father described earlier.
"Absolutely"
"Thank God, because I want it too." With that, he closed his eyes and fell asleep cuddled into me. My brain, on the other hand, was burnt. This amazing, adorable, cute, and fantastic man wanted a future with me. And not only a future, but a family. I gave him a kiss on his forehead and went to sleep; my dreams filled with images of weddings, children, and most importantly, him.
