Jaylon POV
Stupid human. This is why I don't like mortals, they're so fragile sometimes. A snap of fingers can kill them in a second. Maybe I should turn him; it'll be less troublesome. No, if I do it without his consent his mind could go crazy; he'll die. "It's better if we start the therapy early." Jathos tried to pick him up the floor but instinctively my body moved over the human's in a protective crouch and my head snapped up, showing my glowing eyes in a threatening matter to the other three.
"Jaylon, you need to calm down; we're not going to hurt him. We're trying to help him. If we don't give him the therapy he'll be hurting for a long time; you don't want that do you?" Father tried to reason with me, but I was too confused to pay attention to him. Why am I acting like this? It's better for him if they give him the therapy; so why don't I want them touching him? Why don't I want anyone to touch him? While I was busy trying to figure out what the hell was happening, father had teleported all of us to the infirmary room of the temple and had Avery in the medicinal pool.
"Go on Amber." a little water demon was also inside the pool, his hands glowing a faint blue while he moved them above Avery's body. "He didn't hurt himself critically. Just a lot of bruises and a broken rib." If the room hadn't been silent I wouldn't have heard what he said. "It'll take an hour since I'm not used to my powers yet." Jathos softly caressed the boy's face and spoke in a quiet tone, which was surprising since he always shouted.
"Take all the time you need agápi." (Love) he leaned into the caress a bit but then went back to healing Avery. "Jaylon. A word" my father turned and exited the room, expecting me to follow. I stood up and went after him.
"The one thing I told you not to do was hurt him. And I know that you didn't hurt him, but what you've done to him is what lead to his...I don't even know what to call what he had. I expect you to take better care of him." He turned to go back into the room but I asked him a question that was bothering me a bit.
"Why is he so important? I mean, why is my only rule that I shouldn't hurt him? If it was anyone else you wouldn't give me rules. Or you wouldn't make it so important." his head was slightly looking back at me, so I couldn't see his whole expression but I knew he had an all-knowing smirk on his face. "Because, you'll lose him if you hurt him, and trust me...the last thing you want to do is lose him. This isn't a threat, it's a warning." And with that, he went back in. Sometimes I hate having a father that knew so much, it made life so frustrating. I ran my hands over my face to calm myself and destress and went back into the room.
Avery's body seemed better now; his bruises were small unlike when we were teleported, and his face wasn't scrunched up in pain. The little demon, however, he seemed to be weakening. "Why can't you heal him, dad? Ambrosia is getting tired." Jathos was talking to father, but his gaze never left...Ambrosia?
"Because, my aura and Jaylon's is similar, and he's a tiny bit scared of Jaylon. If I were to treat him his body could reject my magic and end up being worse. Plus, he seems determined to heal Avery." a tiny groan past through the air and I suddenly found myself next to the pool, watching as Avery twitched and whimpered at the pain that still resided in his body. I grabbed his hand and laid a gentle kiss on it, careful with the fact he could worsen with my aura. Thankfully he calmed down a bit instead of worsening. "How much longer Ambrosia?" he looked up when I used his name but then went back to focusing on the task.
"Not much Lord" a sheet of sweat was visible throughout his face and neck, and his breath had started to become deep. Jaylon laid his hands on each side of Ambrosia's neck, a faint orange glow appeared, signaling he was transferring energy from himself to the little demon; his thumbs were moving up and down, giving comforting and soothing waves. His eyes were soft, looking at the little water demon as if he held his whole world in his hands; and I didn't doubt he did.
"Agápi, prépei na káneis diáleimma, i enérgeia sou échei schedón fýgei. Í touláchiston na páreis lígo perissótero apó ména." (Love, you need to take a break, your energy is almost gone. Or at least take some more from me.) Jaylon's eyes had worry all over them, his hands glowing a deeper orange.
"Kanénas kýrios, prépei na to káno mónos mou" (No master, I have to do this on my own) His gaze changed from worried to concerned and the orange glow surrounded Ambrosia's body, meaning he refused to take from Jaylon so he had to surround him with it.
"Den tha sas vlápso" (I won't have you hurting yourself) The glow completely surrounded Ambrosia now, but not touching his hands; it seemed to have put the little demon's body at ease. "Efcharistó" (Thank you) The next noise to be heard in the room was Avery's groan as he woke up, gasping a bit for breath.
"Hey, hey! Look at me, you're ok. Your body is being healed as we speak and you being out of breath is just because you're body's healing routine has been accelerated. You're not dying and you're not badly hurt." With the way, he was gasping and looking around worried I knew he didn't hear a word I spoke. What to do, what to do? If he doesn't calm down it's going to be hell for him.
"Lord, if he doesn't calm down, it's going to be harder for me to keep healing him." I could see how Ambrosia's stance had changed, he was rigid now and seemed to be putting, even more effort to heal Avery. And Avery didn't seem to be getting better; his breathing was even deeper than before, making his chest fall and rise at an alarming rate, his eyes seemed even less focused and his pupils were blown wide.
"Jaylon, if he keeps going like this Amber isn't going to be able to heal him! Actually, he may die! His body is panicking and is about to reject the magic!" At Jathos' words, I found my heart beating at a harder rate, he was panicking, Ambrosia was panicking, Avery was panicking, I was panicking; hell everyone is panicking!! "Jaylon you have to do something!!"
Avery really seemed out of control now, his body was starting to thrash and he was starting to mumble incoherently, "No, no no no. I-I can't. No." each word was getting louder and louder and he seemed about to have a convulsion. "JAYLON!!!"
I kissed him.
I bent down into the pool, grabbed the back of his head and kissed him, entering his mouth so that my tongue could coax his. I took his shaking hands in mine and tried to get his body under control. With each second that passed our kissing got more and more aggressive; my hands were no longer holding his but instead holding his ass. His hands were tangled in my hair and racking my back every once in a while, leaving behind red trails.
"Is it wrong that I'm getting a bit turned on by this?"
