Sorry, I took so long, I hadn't had much inspiration to write in the last few months, and when I did I checked the last chapter like I always do and saw that I didn't put a translation to the Greek verse Jaylon said. At the time I posted the chapter I had done it on purpose, thinking that I was going to write the next day but for some reason, I didn't, so when I tried to write the next time I had inspiration, in September, I couldn't remember nor find out what that sentence meant and I got really frustrated so I gave up on it. I had to tell myself that just because I didn't know what it meant doesn't mean I shouldn't write the book anymore; so I changed the sentence to something that is hopefully close to the original, then put in the translation. So, again, sorry for the wait, hope you guys like this next chapter.

Avery POV / August 17 / Jathos^^^
It's been six days since the date with Jaylon; six days since he reassured me that I wouldn't have to go through what I've been through ever again. And, to be honest, it's helped me make a decision. I was always worried whether or not I was gonna end up in the streets one day, no one to help or no one to be there with me. Now I know I don't have to worry about that, I know that it's unlikely I'll be out on the streets dying of hunger; and even if I am, I know Jaylon will be there with me.
So now, here I am, "I said no you motherfucker!!"
"And I said I don't give a shat!! You landed on my property so now you have to pay!!"
"I've landed on your property 3 times in a row, Jaylon! I'm almost broke, I refuse to pay anything else!" I made eye contact with Ambrosia who was next to a screaming Jathos at the other side of the table, he just held up two properties and only 33 dollars. I help up three properties and 24 dollars. I always knew I sucked at monopoly. Whereas Jaylon, Jathos, and Apollo, had the rest of the properties and a lot more money than Ambrosia and I combined.
"You're not broke Jathos! Ambrosia and Avery are broke! You don't see them complaining!" All eyes turned to the both of us and we just sat there, praying to whatever gods would listen to get us out of this situation.
"You know what? Fine, have the 80 bucks, I'm not playing anymore." Jathos threw the money down on the table and then left the dining room.
"Hey! What are you doing? That's cheating" Ambrosia stopped for a second to look at me a bit taken aback.
"Since I am engaged to him when he dies everything he owns will come to me. Technically these are mine." Ambrosia finished taking Jathos' properties and his money.
"That's not fair! Now I'm the only broke one! Don't just shrug you cheater!" I threw one of the pieces that weren't being used at him.
"Hey!!" Next thing I know, ice cold water is running down my back.
"Oh my god!!" My body flew out of the chair and I was launching myself unto him, ready to get payback; but alas, unfortunately, my man grabbed onto my waist and stopped me.
"I think that's enough of family game night. If anyone needs either of us we'll be around the temple." Jaylon merely carried me like a koala and walked away while I glared at an innocently smiling Ambrosia.
"This isn't over!!" I felt a pat on my booty before Jaylon told me to quiet down. Since my mind kept coming up with ways to get payback, I didn't notice that we weren't going up to our room. Instead, we were going a completely different way. "Where are we going?"
He didn't answer me, just kept walking. We went through different hallways, and up a few staircases before we came to a looooong staircase. I put a bit of distance between our faces and just looked at him, looked at his handsome face. From his eyes, and eyebrows to his nose and mouth and everything else.
