Ambrosia POV / August 18 / Ambrosia^^(So cute!)
"Am-brosia"
"Wake up"
"Am-brosia"
My once peaceful rest was now interrupted by the sound of that eery voice, whispering in my ear. My body was stiff, I didn't dare to move for fear of whoever was the owner of that void.
"Come on now. Wake up" I couldn't identify the person, it wasn't because I didn't know the person, it was probably because I was just woken up.
"Wake...up" I was considering just staying still and waiting for the person to leave, or for someone to come into the room, but before I could make that decision I felt one of his hands touching my shoulder, and that's when my instincts took over.
I wasn't about to wait for what he was about to do, be it kidnap me or anything worse. My body jerked away from the hands and as soon as I could focus enough, I froze some water from the bathroom and shot them at the intruder. I didn't stay around enough to check if it hit him or not, I just bolted for the door and thankfully made it out of the room. I looked back for a second as I was running down the hallway to check if he was following. When I concluded that no one was following me I turned back around and kept running, or at least I would've had someone not suddenly appeared in front of me; that someone being Apollo.
A gasp made its way out of my throat before I launched myself into his arms."S-sir! Sir!"
"Hey, hey; calm down. Ok? Calm down." I could feel he was using his powers to calm me down. "Listen to me, Ambrosia. I'm sorry. I was the one that was in your room right now trying to wake you up ok? I'm sorry for scaring you and making you have a slight panic attack. Next time I'll just get Jathos to wake you up. I just wanted you to come look at some things for the wedding." He was calmly running his hands down my back, my arms, through my hair, doing anything to make sure I was calmed down and comfortable.
The only other person I had gotten this close to was Jathos and I loved his hugs; mainly because they were warm and made me feel so safe, but right now, I felt really safe in Apollo's arms too. Of course, I would always prefer Jathos' arms, but what I'm trying to say is that...I guess other people aren't as bad as I thought.
"Are you alright now?"*nod*"Then come on, as I said earlier, I wanted you to help with some things about the wedding, I thought you'd want to be around the planning considering it's yours." Our way to his office was quiet, but not awkwardly so, it was...nice.
"You know Ambrosia, I'm thankful you're in Jathos' life. He sure needed someone in his life who loved, accepted, and could keep up with all of his rambunctiousness. I honestly thought it would be someone equally rambunctious. Thank Zeus, I don't think I could've handled two Jathos. He really needs you; so thank you, Ambrosia, for loving my boy." I felt his lips make contact with the top of my head. So warm. I couldn't stop myself from hugging him.
"Thanks, sir"
"Please, call me Apollo Ambrosia; you're already a son of mine. By the way, good job with those ice spikes earlier, you're gonna be a powerful little thing once you practice and learn more." We made our way into his office where it looked like a tornado ripped through a few weddings and left everything here. "Let's get started."
[Later in the day]
"Poor thing fell asleep after we tried about 20 different flavors for the wedding cake, I think he liked the pecan one." Considering the scare I had this morning and that I didn't have breakfast this morning, it's not surprising I ate that much and now feel completely stuffed. I did like the pecan cake, but I loved the vanilla bean one; it just tasted so good. So simple but so delicious.
