Malia grabbed her bag and jacket before racing out the door. Only to find...the boys waiting outside her house.
"Hi." Malia said concerned.
"You're so pretty." Liam said and Isaac elbowed his ribs. "Ow!"
"How's it going?" Isaac asked.
"Good. Why are you guys here? Did something happen?" Malia asked.
"No. We just came to pick you up so we could all go to school together."
Scott explained. Rocking on his heels.
"Hmm. I usually move on my own or with my dad but...okay." Malia said.
"Sweet. We usually have a race to see who gets to school first." Liam said.
"But she wouldn't be interested."
Theo said.
"Yeah I would. Sounds fun. Let's go." Malia said. Theo rolled his eyes before they all got into position.
"And...Go!" They bolted down the clear path through the woods.
Poor Theo was thinking that she would slow them down, but Malia demolished the boys. Leaving them in the dust. Stopped when she got to the highway. Flagging random cars.
"What...are you...doing?" Isaac asked breathlessly. Hands on his knees.
"Getting a ride. This is a highway during rush hour. I don't feel like dying." Malia explained.
"You can't jump in some stranger's car. That's stupid." Scott said.
"I can take care of myself but if you boys are so worried, you could just come with me and protect me." Malia said sweetly. A 100 dirty thoughts went through Scott's head.
"Okay!" Liam said eagerly.
"I'm down." Isaac said.
"Always." Malia said.
"I'll walk." Theo said stubbornly and started walking.
"Theo. What the hell?" Isaac asked and tried to go after him.
"Let him go, man." Scott said shaking his head. Malia rolled her eyes and gave one last ear piercing whistle.
"Thanks for that!" Isaac said sarcastically. Tickling his ear.
"Hi, miss. What seems to be the problem?" A patrol officer asked.
"Well officer, my friends and I, we were racing in the woods to get to school until we got here.
But it's so dangerous this time of day...can you please give us a lift to Beacon Hills High School?" Malia asked in her sweetest girl voice ever.
"Say no more. Hop in kids." He said.
"I call shotgun!" Liam said and carefully made his way to the front.
"You boys coming?" Malia asked as she was comfy in the backseat.
Isaac and Scott got in.
Scott next to Malia. Who kept staring.
"Oh. Bye, Theo." Isaac said as they passed him walking, while they got a lift to school in a heated cop car.
"There you go, kids. Try to avoid the highway from now on unless you have a car, okay?" The officer suggested kindly as they got out.
"We will!" They said together.
"And thank you, again. I'll remember this, Officer Pinckney. We appreciate it." Malia said smiling as all the other kids stared and whispered.
"No problem. Be good." With that he drove off. Scott still staring.
"Well he was nice." Malia said cutely.
"What the hell was that?" Scott demanded. Liam hugged Malia.
"I got us a ride. Let's go." Malia said.
"We have to wait on Theo."
Isaac groaned.
"Why? He wanted to walk. I could have gotten something for the five of us but he wanted to be a little bitch." Malia said bluntly.
Isaac and Liam chuckled.
"Right there. You were so sweet and tender just now with the cop and then now, you're just..." Scott struggled.
"Don't hurt yourself, Scott." Malia said. Theo finally arrived.
"Nice one. Leaving me to walk in the cold." Theo said sarcastically.
"At least you got exercise." Malia said.
"Bitch." Theo spat.
"And?" Malia asked twirling her hair.
"Marry me." Scott said out loud.
"What?" Malia asked confused.
"I said we should go." Scott corrected.
"Okay " Malia laughed and the walked up the stairs and through the doors.
Girls who think they were better than the pack started paying them attention. Talking to them first. Pulling them away. While Malia made her way to her locker.
Watching the Sexy Squad put up fliers. Scott stood next to her.
"What are you doing?" Scott asked.
"Waiting for the boys to start thinking with their big brain so we can get to class. Mostly watching the Sexy Squad put up flyers." Malia explained.
"Aww. Looking at the girls you wish you were?" Theo asked sarcastically.
"Theo, if you're in love with me just say it." Malia sighed.
"Ew. No, parasite." Theo scoffed.
"Whatever. Where's Liam and Isaac?"
Malia asked.
"Bye...She hates me." Liam said approaching the group.
"Impossible." Malia said and kissed his forehead. Isaac returned with lipstick marks all over his face.
"Let's go." Isaac said stunned.
"Someone's having a good morning." Malia laughed as they walked.
"Shut up." Isaac laughed too. Wearing the lipstick stains with honor.
