Malia was killing it at cheerleading.
Best acting role of her life.
Being a werewolf, the moves were cake. She even liked some of the girls.
"Hey, Malia. Others."
Kira said warmly.
"Oh. Hey, Kira. Lydia. What's up?" Malia asked. "Come to kick me off the squad?" Malia asked sarcastically.
"You'd think but no. I'm having a sleepover with all the girls on Saturday night." Lydia said.
"Oh. Cool. Well, good luck." Malia said.
"Um...You're invited too, Malia." Kira said with a raised eyebrow.
"Really? Why?" Malia asked surprised.
Theo conked her on the head for her rudeness. "Ow." Scott smacked the back of his head as retaliation. "Ha."
"I'm...beginning to wonder, myself...Anyway, it's just a non-pressure way for all the girls to get to know each other. But if you don't want to come__" Malia stopped her.
"No, I want to. It's girls like you don't really invite me to anything or talk to me so it threw me off...but yeah, I'm game." Malia shrugged.
Lydia rolled her eyes.
"Riiight...Saturday at 8:00 PM. Here are the directions." Lydia handed her a card with the directions. "See you there. Gentleman..." Lydia addressed the boys before leaving with Kira.
"Moving up in the world, kid!" Isaac said and slapped her on the back.
"I guess but I don't know what to do."
Malia said. Hayden approached them.
"Hi, Malia." Hayden said cutely.
"You're so pretty." Liam said suddenly.
"Uh huh...thanks. Anyway, I hope it's okay that I talk to you outside of practice."
Hayden said as Liam drooled.
"Of course. Why wouldn't it be?" Malia asked.
"I don't know. You're this super chill Junior and pretty and badass." Hayden said smiling. "You're kind of a rolemodel for the freshman class."
"That's sweet but shouldn't you be looking up to someone like Lydia? I'm a terrible influence." Malia laughed.
"We don't think so. You're the cool kind of rebel." Hayden said.
"Well thank you. And this little conversation just made you the coolest Freshman in school."
Malia said. Hayden blushed embarrassed. Caught.
"Sorry." Hayden said.
"Yeah. Go enjoy the spoils. We'll talk more at Lydia's thing." Malia said.
"You're the best." Hayden said.
"You are too! Boobs!" Liam blurted.
"See you." Hayden said and left.
"You are why restraining orders exist." Malia said with a sarcastic smile and tapped his nose lightly.
"Why doesn't she like me?" Liam asked sadly.
"Because you say dumb stuff that creep her out." Isaac said sarcastically. "I can't help it. She makes my nervous." Liam said.
Malia hugged him. "You smell nice."
"Thank you. You'll get better." Malia said. Scott broke there hug. "Why?"
"You can be my woman on the the inside!" Liam gasped excitedly.
"One problem...I don't know what I'm doing! I've never been to one of these things before. Or had friends for that matter." Malia said nervously.
"I have a sister. She's had a couple of those. I'll see what I could remember and walk you through it." Theo said.
"Really? You'll help me?" Malia asked.
"Yeah...I'll help." Theo said reluctantly.
"Thank you! You like me." Malia said and nudged him.
"I do not like you." Theo insisted as he walked away.
She and the others followed.
"Your heart just skipped a beat. You liar. I'm your friend."
Malia said cutely.
"You're not. This helps me." Theo said.
"How?" Malia laughed.
"...it just does!"
