Chapter Seventeen: Tie Fighting

I opened my eyes and I was on the floor. I heard footsteps running to me. I got up and was met with a hug from Ceezar and Dako.
"I'm fine." I told them and they let go
I saw everyone else looking at us awkwardly.
"One of you better your butts on a gun!" Jenny yelled from another room. Dako ran off and Ceezar said "Time to show you how we handle the First Order." With a smirk on his face.
He started running and I followed him. We eventually made it to a room with nothing in it.
The door closed behind us and the wall opened up. Revealing about twenty black suits.
"Put these on!" Ceezar demanded
I listened and put it on. It was jumpsuit like and was made of some sort of rubber.
Eventually everyone had one on and Ceezar said. "You ready for the fun part?"
He pushed a button on the side of the wall and the floor opened up beneath us.
Within seconds we were all free falling through the vacuum of space.
"Press the button on your right wrist to activate a jetpack." Ceezar said through a mic
I pressed the button and started flying up.
"Where ever the top of your head is pointing that's where you'll go." Dako said
I aimed my head at the star destroyer and started flying fast to it. I heard people behind me.
Then the terrifying shrieking sound of tie-fighters deafened us for a second.
"Aim at the docking bay!" I yelled
"What about the tie-fighters?" Hevor said
"You're to small to be seen by them. The only way they can kill you is if they somehow hit you accidentally or run into you." Jenny said
I turned around to see our powerless ship get blown up in seconds but the fighters.
"We can only hold out here for a few minutes!" Arsement said into the mic
I turned back forwards and went dead ahead to the docking bay.
We made it there and it was completely empty of life.
I looked up and saw the control center with one captain inside it.
"Ajneb get a grenade ready." I said
He looked up at me and grabbed one off the shelf next to him.
He pulled out his pistol and was ready to fly.
I picked him up and threw him high above me. When he was up there I used the force to hold him there.
Four blaster shots went off and then a sound of shattering glass. I looked up at him as he pressed the detonator and threw it into control center.
"Now what?" Ceezar asked
"Explosions." Aceti said
I picked up the rack of grenades with the force and carefully moved them into the control center. I set them down and said "Everyone get in a fighter now and get out of here!"
No one hesitated and did as I told. After every one was in one I hopped in one and took off.
"Get out of here, all of you! That includes you Jenny!" I told them
She started to protest but stopped.
I watched as they flew away one by one.
I was the last one left so I turned my ship to the command center and fired.
A loud blast went off and I flew out as fast as I could.
I flew back to the fleeing friends and looked back. The ship was engulfed in flames.
"Nice work!" Vlosev said excitedly
"We're just getting started." I said with a smirk.
"Are you crazy there's eleven of our ships against their hundred!" Jenny yelled
"Easy." Ceezar said
A smirk started forming on my face as we got closer to the tie-fighters.
"3...2...1... Fire!" Dako said
We all fired and about twenty enemy tie-fighters blew up.
"Don't fire unless they shoot first from now on!" I said
I accelerated and drew all the fire. Most if not all fire was was re-directed to me.
I wasn't hit because I was going up, down, left, right, and spinning in circles.
I did this for about a minute and turned back. There were twenty or so fighters now and none of them saw me coming from behind.
I fired at some of them and they started to scramble.
"They're on my tail!" Abraxis yelled with a scared voice
"I got you." I said
I saw them chasing her and started firing at them.
I chased them for a while until I said "I need some help these are good pilots."
I got no response and looked around. Someone came by my side and I said "I can't hear you, turn over if you can hear me who ever is next to me."
They turned upside down and then flipped back over. I looked back forward and saw one tie-fighter explode.
We were closing in on the destroyed star destroyer.
I looked up at the wreckage and saw a ball of fire came flying out of it.
"Turn!" I yelled
Everyone turned away except Abraxis and the other fighters chasing her.
"Abraxis get out of there. Now!" I screamed
She didn't pull up in time. I watched as her ship was obliterated.
"ABRAXIS!!" I yelled
I opened up the top of the fighter I was in and jumped out.
I flew over to where her ship was. I looked through the wreckage. Eventually Hevor joined me. We searched and searched. I called out her name multiple times.
Eventually everyone was down here looking.
We search for over an hour before Jenny tapped me on the shoulder.
Tears were streaming from my eyes. She looked at me sadly and then pointed back to the ship.
I knew she was trying to say 'We have to go now. The First Order will be here soon."
I looked at her then back in the inflamed destroyer.
She started flying away and I followed her.
I looked back to the destroyer and took a look.
I peered at a black spot for a second in front of the red and orange flames.
I stopped flying and stayed still looking at it.
It looked like a limp body!
"Over there!" I exclaimed excited
Jenny turned around and came to my side. I pointed to the body and flew to it.
The closer we got I could feel the heat burn me more and more.
The suit was starting to melt when I got to the body.
I looked at it and I saw Abraxis' face.
"She's here! Get the ship as close as possible!" I yelled
I looked down at Abraxis and picked her up. I started flying to where the ship was waiting. I could feel the rubber by my legs start to fade away and move.
I made it out of the flames with rashes and burns but I still got Abraxis out too.
The ship pulled around and I flew in where I dropped out of.
The floor closed and I set Abraxis down. I took off her mask and everyone ran over.
"She doesn't have much time to live. We need to get her our medical droid." Dako said urgently
I nodded my head and picked her up.
