Chapter Sixteen: New Friends

I woke up on the floor of an unfamiliar ship.
I got up and saw Latsky leaning against the wall.
"What happened?" I asked
"You've been unconscious for multiple days now." The woman said as she walked in
"Who are you?" Latsky asked her
"My name is Jenny." She told us
The two men walked in and walked next to Jenny.
"My name is Cezzar but most people call me Ceez." The one on the left said. He's tall, has long hair, a goatee, and pretty muscular like the other one.
"My name is Dako but I normally go by DK." The one on the right said. He is a bit shorter than Cezzar, way more pale, and black hair.
"I'm Felix and this is my friend Latsky." I told them
"You're the Jedi Master Felix right?" Cezzar asked me
I nodded my head and said "You've heard of me?"
"Yes we have. We've seen you before." Dako said
"When?" I questioned
"You saved our lives twelve years ago. We were only eight and were being chased by Hondo and his son. You came out of an ally in front of us and said 'You don't need to worry about these two anymore.' We got behind you and we watched as you ignited your lightsaber and stab Hondo in the gut." Cezzar said
"I remember that day." I told them
"You saved our lives." DK said
"After I killed Hondo you brought me to where you were living. In an ally with nothing but a loaded blaster and some lachlenchelat." I said
"You got them to an orphanage and gave the matrons about five hundred credits so they could eat well, sleep well, and live well until adopted." Jenny said
I looked over at her and she knew I was going to ask her how she knew but she said "My family adopted them about a month after you dropped them off there." She said
I looked at them and tears started forming in their eyes.
"My parents died seven years ago in a fire. We escaped but they were crushed by a wall." Jenny said with tears streaming down her face.
I looked around, Cezzar and Dako were crying to.
"After they died we used whatever money they had and bought this very ship and some more essentials." Dako said
"We decided to search for you and go on adventures with you. Help you. And help others in need." Cezzar said
"We are here to stay. And you can't do anything about it." Jenny said
They all looked at me. I started walking over to them and fear grew on their faces. Eventually I was within six inches of Jenny. I reached my arms out and grabbed Cezzar and Dako.
I pulled all of them in and hugged them. Tears started streaming down my face. I sensed the fear turn to love as they hugged me to.
We stood there for a minute until we heard a cough. I turned around and saw Latsky helping Arsement up.
"You're awake!" I said to him and he smiled
I walked over to him but when I did I realized I hadn't eaten since Veronica's and my apartment. My stomach started growling loudly.
"We've got enough food for three meals everyday for four days." Jenny said
"Let's go eat and let the others wake up on their own." Cezzar said
He walked out a door with Dako and Jenny, so I followed them.
We walked for a few seconds in a hallway until we came upon a door. It opened and I could tell this was the kitchen because of all the different smells.
"Help yourselves." Jenny said
I walked over to a large cabinet and opened it.
There was an immediate blast of the smell of lachlenchelat.
There were at least fifty bowls of it. Dako saw my reaction of happiness and said  "No one really likes it on this ship so you can have it all." I looked over to him with my mouth wide open and he just laughed and nodded his head.
I grabbed a bowl and sat down at the table in the corner.
Eventually everyone sat down and we all caught up with what we've missed.
An hour passed and I went to go check on the others.
I walked to the door and it opened.
Everyone was sitting together.
"Felix!" Lesnati said
Everyone looked my way and got up. They walked my way until the were close.
"What happened?" Abraxis asked
"Where are Latsky and Arsement?" Aceti asked
"Where are we?" Ajneb asked
"What happened to our ship?" Hevor demanded
"We were saved by some old friends of mine. Latsky and Arsement are fine, they're eating. I don't know where the ship is." I told them
I walked in the door and it closed behind me.
"Felix!" I heard from the other room
Cezzar ran through the hallway and the door opened.
"The First Order has found us!" He yelled
"Where's our ship?" I asked
He pointed to a door in the hallway. I ran to it and it opened. I saw the ceiling of our ship.
I jumped in and landed on the wall.
"Any valuables on the ship?" I yelled to them
I got no response so I ran to my room. The door wouldn't open so I had to pull it open long enough for me to get in.
"One star destroyer!" I heard Dako yell to me
"You need to hurry or else we're all dead!" Cezzar yelled
I was in my room so it was muffled but I could still make out what hey were saying. I saw the box from the apartment and grabbed it.
I tried opening the door with the box but the box was to big.
"You have twenty seconds!" Dako yelled to me
I looked around frantically and decided I could only take one thing.
I immediately grabbed the picture of E and opened the door. I was able to jump through it and I made it to the hallway.
I looked up and saw Ceezar reaching his hand for me to grab.
"Five!" Dako yelled I ran on the wall and jumped to the lounge.
"Four!" He yelled I tried to jump up but hit my head on the ceiling.
"Three!" He yelled I jumped on the wall.
"Two!" I was clinging onto the way up.
"One!" He screamed. I jumped as high as I could.
I felt the cold temperatures of space consume me.
"Felix!" Cezzar yelled with tears streaming down his face.
The suction pulled me away from him.
I shook my and knew my time has come.
"NOOO!" He screamed
I looked down and saw the infinite death of space. I closed my eyes excepting my fate.
"Now your time has come." A sinister voice said.
I opened my eyes and saw Abaloth flying there.
I looked at her terrified and put both my legs down.
She looked at me and started laughing maniacally.
I was still in the free fall. I was so close to her.
I landed on her for less than a second and jumped up.
I closed my eyes expecting her to grab me but I felt my body slam onto a metal floor.
