The ship crashed with a loud thud noise and I stood in the same place. I watched it crash. I watched as the girl walked out from the wreckage unsteadily.
I could tell she was in trouble. I sensed she was strong with the force.
She walked over to me and just stared up at me. She is no older than fourteen. By the way she is looking at me I can tell she knows I'm a Jedi.
She's shaking in fear it looks like.
"Are you ok?" I eventually ask her
She nods her head and asks "Are you a Jedi?"
"I was once a Jedi." I replied
She looks beaten up, as if she's gone through an entire war.
She saw me examining her and said "I escaped slavery from my home planet. I was being chased and then I wound up here."
I nodded my head and told her "There's a small lake downhill where you can cleanup and then you can go be on your way."
"I want to be a Jedi." She said
"You're in the wrong place then." I said
"You can teach me the way of the force." She said
"NO! Now go clean yourself and go!" I demanded
"What do you expect me to magically repair that ship in seconds and fly away like nothing happened? She asked sternly
"Yes" I simply replied
"Let me stay until I fix my ship." She said
I looked at her questionably before I nodded my head and walked away.
"What are you doing you idiot?" I asked myself as I walked into my little home.
I sat down and took out my lightsaber. I examined it carefully and ignited it.
"You have to teach her." A familiar sounding voice said
"Mother?" I questioned
"You will teach her!" She said as she appeared from thin air.
I put my lightsaber away sensing that the girl was near and I walked out of the hut.
I looked around and saw her staring at me.
I walked the other way and she pretended to get to work on the ship. But she stalked me as I got further away.
I went over to the farm and pulled out a Hubba Gourd and took a bite out of it.
I then walked over to the side of the cliff and jumped up the ledges until I made it to the top.
I sat down by the little campfire I made their.
I looked down to see the girl trying to climb to mountain but failing miserably.
I then jumped back down. She sighed in relief and I asked "What is your name girl?"
"Avier." She replied confidently
"Well Avier, fix your ship and then get out of here." I demanded
She walked to her broken ship when I said this.
It started to downpour later that day.
I looked outside of my hut and saw her sitting by her broken ship curled up into a little ball.
I could sense the sadness and defeat flowing off of her.
I just watched her as she sobbed.
"I'm going to make you proud." I said as I looked up. I ran outside with my only blanket. I ran to her and picked her up.
By the look on her face I could tell she was scared at first but was relieved.
She was freezing cold almost able to be frozen.
I set her down on one of the beds on the other hut.
"Are you ok?" I asked her
"She just stared at me and said "To become a Jedi."
I chuckled and said "Let's dry you off before we talk about that."
She looked up at me as I went and grabbed a cloth from the corner. I handed it to her and she started drying her self off.
"Thank you." She said delightfully as she smiled.
I nodded my head and looked back outside.
"This is the on of the best storms I've seen. You're lucky that you aren't dead right now." I told her.
I ran outside and went to my hut. She followed me to the doorway of hers.
I grabbed my pillow and ran back outside making sure to keep it as dry as possible.
I walked back inside and set the pillow down on her bed.
"Sleep, you need your rest." I said
She nodded her head and set her head on the pillow. I heard a sigh of relief as she closed her eyes.
I watched her sleep most of the night before I fell asleep on the floor.
I woke up to the sound of an animal eating my crops. I arose and she woke up.
"Don't be alarmed." I reminded her and she laid her head back down
I walked outside and got partially blinded for a minute because of the roaring sun.
My vision focused and I saw an Ungulate eating my crops. I quickly pulled out one of the pistols and shot it.
It fell to the ground and bled out.
By this time Avier was standing behind me looking at the animal.
"Animals here are our friends. We do not kill them unless they eat our crops." I said
She nodded her head and walked over to it.
"You go spend the rest of the day exploring the island. I have to get this Ungulate ready." I said
"Yes Master." She said gratefully as she walked away.
For the rest of the day I spent my time gutting, skinning, and cooking the animal.
It was almost dark by the time I finished and I was so hungry I decided to start to eat.
I got finished eating an hour ago and still no sign of Avier.
"Avier!" I called out but got no response to
I started walking around a bit. Everything was quiet.
I walked a bit more until I saw some footsteps in some mud. I bent down to take a look at them but lost my footing when I heard screaming.
I got up and ran to the screaming. It was far, really far.
"Avier!" I yelled as I got closer
Suddenly the screaming stopped and sensed that she was near and terrified.
I looked all around besides down.
"Master!" She yelled
I looked around and saw her hardly hanging on to the side of a canyon with one hand.
I bent down and said "Give me your other hand."
She swung it up and I caught it almost causing myself to fall in. I pulled her up with a grunt.
She was shaking and crying. I looked at her and she did the same but she came and hugged me. I looked down at her shocked and asked "How did you end up in that situation?"
"I found this." She said as she held out her palm
I gasped at the sight of it.
"Do you know what this is or what it means?" I questioned
She shook her head no.
