Chapter Five: A New Friend

I woke up in a big puddle of tears and with a cast over my right leg. I looked to the sides of me. On the left a door which I assumed led out somewhere and on the right the man that I saved from the explosion.
I tried to get up but I was strapped down. A couple minutes later a robot walked in with what seemed to be a doctor.
"We replaced where your kneecap was with an artificial version." He spoke out.
"Now your friend on the other hand, he has a mild concussion and a broken leg. But he should be fine." Said the robot
"Am I free to go?" I asked
"Yes but you can't leave until your friend is awake, is with you, and you still need to pay." Said the doctor
"Put it on my bill" I replied
He scoffed and left the room.
——— Three hours later———
I was asleep when I heard coughing. I woke up thinking it was the doctor but when I opened eyes I saw him standing above me with his clothes on.
There were no straps around me so I was able to get up. As I did a robot walked in.
"Your clothes are on that chair." He said as he he pointed.
I put them on without saying a word to the man. I grabbed my lightsaber and put it on my belt and finally said "Who are you?"To the man
"The name's Levat" He said
"Felix" I replied
"Why did you save me? You could've let me die and rot." He asked
"That's not how I am, I'd rather save people like you then have die."
He looked at me as if I was insane.
"How did you end up there anyway?" I questioned
"The police took me to a ship with people and stormtroopers on it. Then it took off. We went to that moon and were put to work. I looked around and saw the young and old with pickaxes chopping away at the wall. There were  truck loads of chrystals. I was there for less than two hours before I saw a flash of blinding light and then I watched as the walls and ceiling started falling. Then a deafening sound and an explosion. The force of it knocked me against a wall. I lost my breath and then I watched as the fell onto me. It crushed my legs. I saw the floor start to crack open and I watched as bodies started falling in. There was dead people everywhere. I then closed my eyes knowing it was the end. But I just stayed there nothing happened. I left my eyes close losing consciousness every second." He said.
"That's when you saw me and called out." I said rudely.
"After that I blacked out."
I looked down at his legs but couldn't see anything because of his pants.
He saw me looking down and said "They're gone, both of them."
He lifted up his pants leg and he had metal poles instead of legs. I looked back up at him and asked "Who are those people in the picture?"
He looked at me curiously.
"Around your neck." I said.
"They were my family. They were slaughtered by the First Order three months ago." He said in a depressing tone.
"I killed that woman the other day because she was the one who lied to the First Order and got my wife and children killed. She said that we were Jedi." He said angrily
I looked at him and said "I've lost my family to the darkness of the First Order too."
I was about to tell him how I lost my family but then from the hallway we heard crashing, screaming, yelling and blaster fire.
I looked out and saw First Order Stormtroopers shooting people.
"Now's your time to avenge your family" I said.
