I've been falling for about ten seconds before I opened my eyes. I sure am glad I did. Right underneath me there was a speeder. I positioned myself in a dive motion and was able to catch up to the falling speeder.
I caught up to it and climbed onto the seat and turned on the engine. I looked up and saw boulders twice as large as my old hut. I slowly made my way up the gaping hole until I was back on land.
I was able to make it back to my ship and find some short time pain relievers. It barely helped but at least I was able to walk. I went back to where the hill was.
I called out for any survivors and I was met with complete silence. But I still went over to where the temple once stood. I saw dead men, women, and children that I recognized from the city.
"This is where the missing people went." I said underneath my breath.
I sensed death but worse as I walked around. These people were tortured, not fed for days, no sleep, no shelter. I started a little fire and gathered bodies.
I watched in sadness as I cremated them.
"This fight has been going on for to long." I told myself.
I was close to finishing bringing the bodies to the fire when from under a pile of rubble I heard a weak cough.
I walked to pile to find the person who killed the mother yesterday.
He saw me and said "help me." before he passed out. I contemplated leaving him there before I realized he had on a necklace with a heart on it.
I was able to drag him out of the rubble only to find his legs were smashed and he had a hole where his ankle should've been.
I sat down next to him and opened the necklace.
There was a picture of his wife and two daughters from the look of it. I sensed the sadness coming from him as if he had lost someone close to him.
I dragged him aboard the ship and locked him in the cargo area. And then went back to cremating the dead.
It took me another hour before I knew I had to leave. I sensed the darkness of The First Order.
I ran to my ship as fast as I could.
When I boarded the ship I jumped right in the pilot seat and started the engines. By the time I was above the atmosphere I saw three star destroyers come out of light speed.
I put my engines in full trust forward just as I saw hundreds of Tie-Fighters speeding at me. I looked at the fuel and saw that I had enough to make one jump to lightspeed and one hour of shields.
I set my course to the closest habitable planet as heard the screeching of the Tie-Fighter guns. I panicked and ran into one which only set me off course. I was about to make my jump to lightspeed when I got a transmission from the a star destroyer.
I answered it a yelled "You're too late!" As I jumped to lightspeed.
I ended the transmission and I realized I haven't slept in three days.
I woke up to the sound of beeping. It was indicating that if I don't stop lightspeed in the next minute I'll run into Coruscant
I stop the lightspeed and I hear the mans body in the cargo area hit the wall.
I'm able to land in an area where a hospital is and I call the hospital to send help. I open the door to get in so the droids wouldn't have to.
I'm leaning up against the wall when they come in. I tell them where the man is and that's he's unconscious. They ask how I am and then give me a pill. I swallowed it immediately and fell to ground almost immediately. The last thing I see before I blackout is the medic droid picking me up.
