As if by some unseen force, Liam jolts up, running off to the street below the building.
Noel takes a moment of contemplation – maybe it's better for him if Liam had disappeared – and decides to follow him down after all.
He catches Liam, who'd just walked into a busy road, and opts to halt him by grabbing him by his arm and dragging him back to the pavement. Liam is being pulled as far back as Noel wants him to be, only afterwards taking control enough to pull himself away from Noel and letting himself elicit some form of protest.
