It's the day of the filming for the promo video for 'Nothing Lasts Forever', the first single from their new album. Much to the delight of everyone involved, the band didn't have to do much for the video – most of the filming was done sitting at a café, or – alternately, playing under the roof in an alley. A short sequence of the band walking down the street (in scorching heat - one might add) had been thrown into the mixture, and the rest had been post-production or getting shots of some beautiful arches and the like. There isn't a lot of developed interaction between the band, in and out of takes, but Ian has his own way of communicating with Will – moving his eyes behind his shades to look at Will, and then turning his head, seemingly rubbing his eyes and squinting due to his bad eyesight.
Back at the hotel, Ian and Will share a room, while Les has a room on his own. This arrangement was quickly agreed upon – it saves the record company some money, for starters.
