So, Ian doesn't want to talk to Will. Ian's so utterly sad and heartbroken - he doesn't even want to think about Will.

Ian knows in the back of his mind that it's not all Will's fault that they broke up. In fact, he remembers vaguely that Will said something about 'Not going to be with someone who sleeps with everyone right left and center, all *girls*, to prove his non-existent heterosexuality to himself'. Fuck off, that hurt, Will. You've no idea how much.

But he'd convinced himself Will's responsible for the break-up; Will's being distant, he doesn't care as much about Ian as when they'd started dating, the old flame is gone. He cares a lot more about hanging out with Les, why does Will have to have such a good looking friend? That's plain wrong.

Ian had understood earlier he would never be Will's best friend as well as his lover; He'd found it so hard to get Will to talk to him when they're alone, which is why it truly matters to him if Will says something. Perhaps Will's too shy about his emotions, but Ian can't help but feel Will resents him and they'd never got to talk it out since Will was being so goddamn difficult to deal with.
