Tonight is the night.
I'm finally going to watch Heathers (the old movie, not the musical.)
If you don't know what Heathers is, I'll give you a non-spoilery section:
Death, death, more death, and the psycho appeal + slightly disturbing themes. (The psycho appeal is when you find yourself liking a character even more because of their psychoness ((I don't think "psychoness" is a real word.))
Spoilery section below:
Jason "J.D" Dean is the new kiddo in high school. Veronica Sawyer is one of the four most popular girls in school: Heather Chandler, Heather Duke, and Heather McNamara, thus giving them the name "Heathers."
When Veronica refuses to have sex with a frat brother and throws up during a frat party she attended with Heather Chandler, Heather vows to destroy her reputation. J.D shows up at Veronica's house and they have sex outside.
The next morning, they go to Chandler's house and J.D serves her a drink that he claims is a hangover cure but is actually a drain cleaner, killing her. J.D urges Veronica to forge a suicide note.
There's a lot more but I don't feel like writing it because it's 1:13 a.m as I publish this, so below is a brief spoilery continuation.
They kill two other jocks and make it seem like a suicide. J.D almost blows up himself and the school, but Veronica stops him.
In the end, I hope all is well and dandy.
