What if squibs could use magic?

My theory is really weird, but my mind is only awake because I have to complete an english homework that was due last week.

Anyway, here it is.

Before the trace existed, "squib" wasn't even a word. Everyone had magic, but there were some people that didn't leave a magic signature and their magic couldn't be sensed. That was when the trace was created by a control freak, as a way to keep everyone in line, so that way, not just anyone would get a wand and use it as they wish. Before this control freak, squibs, who were called Shades because of their characteristics, could channel raw power from their core to the wand and shape it to fit what the situation calls for.

Shades, despite their high standing, were mostly in positions of doing the dirty work. Spying, smuggling, assassination, and many other things.

The control freak dude, he hated anything he couldn't have or be, and he wanted to be a Shade because it would grant him power and respect. Instead of working with them, however, he turned the world against them. At first, he was ridiculed, but then his seeds of doubt bloomed in a garden of 'what if?'s.

He told the world that they were all liars, no better than the dregs of muggle society, that they were simply having someone else do some magic in their place and they were no more than frauds. Soon they were stripped of all their rights, titles, and respect. The once mighty Shades were reduced to the shameful name of squibs.

The one mistake the control freak made, was assuming that the Shades would submit. A few generations later, newer, powerful bloodlines started appearing out of seemingly nowhere. These lines were started by the squibs, and if they couldn't have revenge, then their children would. From that time, the squib motto was what united every squib regardless of parentage, "What falls down must rise again, and what is quieted must roar louder every time."

And so, thousands of years in the future, when a Potter girl is born a squib, and descended from one of the most powerful Shade lines, Shades are rediscovered when she sees the past and for once, the world listens.

This time, instead of anyone being higher or lower, they were all equals and squibs were now called the new-bloods for their unique capabilities and the fact that they were rare if you compared them to the amount of regular wizards and witches born every year.

(This does not follow canon....... I'm not sorry.)
