(Warning: it's very long, and only ToG and ACOTAR fans would understand it and spoilers for whoever didn't finish the books)

Whenever I try to compare Feyre and Aelin, my mind switches to comparing between Aelin and Rhys.

Here's how I'd put the characters if I had to choose who is most similar to who, even if their personalities are vastly different because I'm not comparing all of them in terms of personality. I also have some characters that can be compared to more than one.

Aelin = Rhys

Arobynn Hamel = Tamlin

Manon = Nesta

Elide = Feyre (I'll explain later)

Nox = Lucien (I'll also explain later)

Aedion = Cassian

Evangeline = Elain

Ansel = Lucien

Chaol = Isaac Hale (IEL((I'll explain later))

Asterin = Morrigan

Maeve = Amarantha

Erawan = Hybern

Emrys = Alis

Rowan = Azriel (IEL)

Tern, Harding, and Mullin = Bron and Hart

Nehemia = Morrigan

Lysandra = Lucien (IEL)

Philippa = Nuala and Ceridwen

There's probably more, but I'll stick to those for now.

Now, time for explanations.

Aelin = Rhys

These two would sacrifice anything for the ones they love. Even though they always have a backup plan, they don't tell anyone. They barely lose their composure and let someone in because sometimes, they worry that if they don't like themselves, can others like their true selves? They both kept the mating bond a secret until it blew up in their face one way or another. And the greatest thing they have in common, they're probably some of the coolest characters ever.

Arobynn Hamel = Tamlin

Some might argue that they're the complete opposite in some aspects, but bear with me here. Arobynn did many things to try and ensure that Aelin stayed with him: he trained her, gave her a life of many luxuries, and let her have some sort of freedom. Tamlin let Feyre paint, ride, and also have a life of luxury. After Amarantha, to make her dependent on him, he didn't teach her how to read or fight. And he forced her to stay by keeping too many guards, also when he pulled that dick move and shielded the house, not allowing her to leave.

Manon = Nesta

I don't think I need to explain this, but I will.

They're both very hard and cold on the outside, but they care about their loved ones. The way they show their love is more through actions than words, and sometimes the actions aren't exactly obvious.

Elide = Feyre

It might not make sense at all, but think about it. When they started their journeys, they were both illiterate and unable to defend themselves in combat. Elide also has her limp to deal with. While not both of them conquer their weaknesses, in the end, they find people that they consider family. They also have strong spirits, able to withstand a lot.

Nox = Lucien

This one is only on the surface. They are both considered allies (Lucien) and possible allies (Nox). They both disappear from the spotlight (Nox more than Lucien).
They were also friends with the main characters of their stories, and were saved by the main character, but other than that, I don't see similarities.

Aedion = Cassian

They're the firey ones that will always crack a joke, but they also grew up harshly. They were separated from a loved for a long period of time, Cassian more than Aedion. They're also Generals.

Evangeline = Elain

They're both sweet and everyone wants to protect them. Both of them are often underestimated, but they can take care of themselves in some ways.

Ansel = Lucien

Besides the long, red hair, they do have a lot in common. Ansel ratted them out to that lord in Xandria, and Lucien turned a blind eye to Feyre's suffering. They both betrayed friends thinking it was the right thing to do. In the end though, they still came through for them. They also have fire in them (literally in Lucien's case), and they display it very well. Both of them have defied a rule their parents had set, and both times, it ended up with someone dead.

Chaol = Isaac Hale

They both fucked the main character waayyyyyy too many times, and then became old flames.

Asterin = Morrigan

They both hold great positions of power, inside and outside their circles. They're loyal to a fault and are great secret keepers. Morrigan broke and told Feyre that she was gay after Feyre accused her of being a liar. She also managed to hide the fact that Feyre and Rhys are mates. Asterin told Manon about that mortal hunter that she had fallen in love with after a fight she had with her (I don't really remember that part of the book very well.)

Maeve = Amarantha

Both of them have unwilling servants, and have more spotlight time compared to Erawan and Hybern, the off-stage villains. I know that Perrington is mentioned frequently, but we either didn't know Erawan was controlling him or he wasn't in the spotlight.

Erawan = Hybern

The off-stage villains, moving many pawns on their chess board without actually playing chess. Kinda like looking at the chess pieces from a small distance and ordering them to move without touching them. They should learn that their version of chess has smarter pieces, so they'd have to drag the poor pieces kicking and screaming to place them in the spot they need in order to win the game.

Emrys = Alis

Those two are no-nonsense type of people, but very loving. Alis's first priority is always her nephews, and Emrys cares about the makeshift family in the kitchen. (These aren't really the best comparisons, but my thumbs are about to fall off because I never type this much on my phone. It'll probably be brief explanations from here.)

Rowan = Azriel

Brooding fae males who keep themselves from pursuing a relationship with the one they love. (Although I hope Azriel moved from Morrigan and fell in love with Elain because they're are just way too cute, especially that scene in the garden where Elain says "beautiful" and Azriel blushes, and oh my god They're JUST TOO CUTE FOR ANY WORLD!)

Tern, Harding, and Mullin = Bron and Hart

Lackeys. Stupid Lackeys. Insensitive stupid lackeys. Do I really need to say anymore?

Nehemia = Morrigan

They're loyal and loving and brave and such fluffballs that are set on fire that doesn't burn their fluff. They're also the "partner-in-crime-and-gossip" sort of best friend.

Lysandra = Lucien

It isn't much, but they were both bound to someone considered an abuser to the main character, and in the end, they sided with the main character, thankfully.

Last, but not least:

Philippa = Nuala and Ceridwen

The only thing they have in common is that they dolled up the main character.

(A/N: Wow, that's a lot of words for me, 1128.)
