Is a lie in most cases.

Example:

I know mother darling prefers brother dearest over lil' old me.

Honestly, I'm not even insulted, just hurt that she would always compare me to him.

Yes, I might not be helpful, but I don't know what to help with.

Yes, he learnt to operate the laundry machine before me, but I don't need you asking me if I know what I'm doing every single fucking time I want to wash my clothes.

Yes, he prefers to let you help him study, but I prefer learning in my room without anyone annoying with the slliest demands of bringing the kitchen tissues. Go bring them yourself woman! I'm all the way in my bedroom and the storage room is literally right across the kitchen where you're sitting.

I. Am. Not. My. Brother.

Please understand that, and you'll find yourself much happier. I'm just thankful my friends barely acknowledge my brother's existence.
