Teachers definitely have indecisiveness issues.Main example:
Four years old, the teacher tells you you're now a grown up.
Six years old, the teacher tells you you were a baby at four and you're now an adult.
You're nine and you're apparently an adult.
Now you're twelve, and you were nothing more than a newborn at nine.
Make up your fucking minds, people!
Now, I'm no expert, and this is just my opinion.
Dear indecisive teachers,
You keep telling children that they're adults. I kid you not, my teacher told my most immature friend, "You're childhood is now over. You're twelve."
That sentence in itself is contradictory. It doesn't matter if you only have the body of a child and the mind of an 80 year old, you shouldn't have to grow up too fast unless it was on your own terms.
Issue 2:
Why are books and readers no longer respected? This question is very reasonable.
Today, since I shy away from talking to someone unless I know them, I told my friend that I really want to talk to the girl in front of me because she was reading a book I really love. So my friend called her over and then we just started talking about books and stupid people and she said that the girls in her class hate her for reading "boring" books without pictures.
Where I'm from, many libraries house shitty books and the bookstores are always at least two months behind on bringing new books.
The school library is literally just four or five fucking tables and four chairs for each one. Two shelves on two walls and that's it.
It seems they don't understand that a library should make a reader feel right at home instead of feeling like they're having a staring contest with a dementor.
It's not even a library. I'll gladly show them a library
^These are libraries. I mean, I get that we don't have much space, but they could've been smarter about it. Instead of having the wooden area as a gym, we could've used it as a library and removed the mirrors and added cushions on the floor. Instead of having a fancy bathroom no one uses, theyc could've made that area into a smaller gym. The original library could be open to students from fourth to twelfth grade during break time and an independent reading period should be added. Students that want to study or learn something new go to the normal library. Students that want to read for entertainment.and want less restrictions could go to the other library.
There. All the problems solved.
(Sorry...kinda. I get really passionate about four things: reading in general, education, age equality and rights, and gender equality, especially because of where I'm from)
