Sleepover with Fritz

You hadn't spoken to Vincent in a while.

You kept putting off making up with him. You just couldn't bring yourself to do it. Though, in the meanwhile, you had scored yourself a date with Fritz! He hit you up on Saturday, (today was Sunday) sometime after you returned home from lunch with Mike. Already having confessed to you, there couldn't be much for him to lose if he asked you on a date.

If things worked out between you two maybe you and him could get in to a somewhat serious relationship. But you didn't want to make too many commitments yet! You would see in due time.

Fritz described himself as a "broke ass bitch," and so that was why you and him were just going to hang out at his house. It was nothing extravagant. He told you to come see him at where he worked, after his shift ended. Then he could take you to where you two needed to go, because you didn't know where Fritz's place was on your own.

You stepped in to the bakery. Ding! Sounded the bell, as it was hit by the door you opened. You were immediately smacked in the face with air conditioning and the sweet smell of baked goods. You stood, blocking the doorway, and swiveled your head in all directions to try and find Fritz. The place was small. You'd say it was probably no bigger than the average family room. This was expected for a local bakery, really.

You browsed the breads and cakes, feeling the gaze of the current acne-covered clerk at the counter bore in to the back of your head as he tried to figure out if you were going to actually buy something or not. It made you more self-conscious than you would have liked. You stopped browsing and sat at a table in the corner of the room, and started to stare at the clerk back, mentally daring him to challenge you. He quickly got uncomfortable and looked away.

Soon enough you heard the swing of the door displaying a sign "EMPLOYEES ONLY."

"Y/N! Good." exclaimed a familiar round face.

The clerk watched Fritz make his way to you and blew a strand of hair from his face.

"Let's go." said Fritz. You gladly followed him out the door, which he held for you, accompanied by another tinkling ding.

"God, I hate that guy." He jabbed a thumb in the direction of where the clerk would be. "Won't stop looking at me weird. Anyway, you like Chinese food?"

As Fritz drove you to his house, he chatted about idle things like movies, and how much he hated the acne-covered clerk.

One of the conversations went as following:

"Have you heard of the Legend of Zelda?"

You shook your head.

"Oh. Well, It's a videogame."

There were a few moments of silence.

"...It came out in Japan a year ago. It's going to be on shelves here, though. Soon. Like in a few days."
