I dashed over at him while he was shooting at the door. I tried to run as fast as I could so he wouldn't have time to react.

    Once I got over to him I grabbed the gun and I elbowed him right in the face. He looked shocked that I hit him so hard but that didn't stop me.

   I yanked the gun out of his hands when he was still shocked. I threw it across the room so he couldn't get to it. I swung a left hook but he grabbed my arm and twisted it around my back. I tried to fight back against him but he was surprisingly strong but not as strong as me.

  I kept trying to get out of his grip but it didn't work. He slammed my face right into the table that was in front of us on the stage. Once he did he got right into my ear and whispered something.

"... I'm here to kill all of y'all one by one. So I need to know where the girl went."

   I'm not going to tell him where she is. Why does it even matter when he is fight against me?

"Come closer and I'll tell you then," I mumbled hoping he didn't hear me, but he did because he got closer. He didn't move too much closer to me but I needed him a lot closer.

"im not telling you," I whispered, but you could tell he didn't hear me as he got a little bit more closer.

"Where is she?" He said firmly.

"I'm not telling you," I whispered again, but even quieter. Once again he got closer, but this time he moved a lot more closer. He must not realize that his grip has been getting looser and looser this entire time.

  "I'm going to ask you one more time. Where is she?"  He said losing his patience. His grip was still getting looser.

  "IM NOT TELLING YOUU!!" I screamed while I yanked my arm out of his grip. He tried to grab me again but I hit the floor. I crawled under the table to the other side but there was no movement from him. It went dead silent.

  I looked up slowly to see that he was shot with an arrow. He dropped to his knees then to the floor. Which revealed Eric with Lily. They was both holding bows, but Lily's didn't have an arrow loaded up. It was impossible that she did that.

  "Come with me you two. We need to talk," said Eric as he started to turn around toward the door.

   Of course Lily waited for me to get off the stage and walk in front of her. But we followed Eric to his office.

  "This is your leader speaking, we have dealed with the problem but still be cautious about your surroundings. Code 68. Repeat code 68," he said over the announcements.

  Code 68 is my favorite code. It means that we're allowed to carry weapons. Even though it's just for protection reasons it's nice to show off your weapons.

   "I want to personally thank you guys for helping keep others safe, and for an award you get theses medals," he said while pulling out two golden medals from his box that was behind him.

  "I want to do it on stage in front of everyone later if y'all are ok with it," Eric said smiling.

  In front of everyone? You know how jealous my friends would get if they saw me get one of those, but I looked over at Lily who was surprisingly looking upset. How could she be upset when we're about to go get medals in front of everyone? This is an amazing opportunity to get realized about my incredible skills.

   "I see you guys need to talk about it so y'all can come back at five pm and give me yalls answer." Eric said. I must have been smiling ear to ear because he looked at me then her.

  "Yes we will give it some thought." I said excited. I grabbed her wrist and I took her out the door and to my rooms door.

  I twisted the door nob but it must have been locked. I dug in my pockets till I found the keys. Once we got in she immediately sits down on my bed looking disappointed.

  "I think we should." I said starting the conversation. She just looked up at me and then shot her eyes back down to the floor.

"I think we shouldn't." She said still looking at the floor.

  "Why it's in front of everyone? I want to see everyone get jealous at my awesome skills." I said while looking at her but she kept her eyes down on the floor.

  "Your already disappointed to have me as your partner because I'm a girl so why take me up there with you saying I saved you?" She said slowly pulling her eyes to look at me. You could see the tears start to build up which is weird for her and me right now. I never seen this girl cry and I'm not the best at making people feel better.

  "Well, you didn't really do anything to help me. I had him but no you come with Eric and shot the dude before I even had the chance to do anything." I said starting to lose my cool.

  "What do you mean I didn't do anything? You was pinned up to the table when we got there so I did you a favor and saved you. You should be thanking me right now not yelling at me!" She said while standing up.

  She walked up to the door. "Look do whatever you want because obviously what I say isn't going to affect you at all. I'm going to tell Eric I'm not taking mine on stage."

  "I am going on stage! And while your talking to him tell him that and also tell him that you need a new partner because I'm not going to let a women talk to me like she ain't got no respect for me." I said while going into my bathroom. If I'm going on stage I'm going to be clean and dressed up.

  But I stopped when I heard crying. I cracked the door and looked in there. She was crying so hard she had to have her hand over her mouth to keep the sound from coming out but it didn't work.

  I grabbed some toilet paper and went into the bedroom. I handed some to her while she snatched them and turned around so I couldn't see her. I wasn't going to apologize but I won't be mad if she didn't tell him that she needed a new partner. In fact, I'm glad to have her as my partner.
