Kaycee knew the next few months would be hectic. Alan had said that he wanted to get married before the year was out - so they decided on a late October wedding - it was nearing the end of June.. All that Kaycee had to do was tell her family. She talked to her parents a few times a week but had barely had the courage to tell them about Alan let alone that they were engaged. They are very judge-mental people on most occasions. Regardless, Kaycee decided about two weeks after Alan proposed to FaceTime her family and tell them of the news. She fidgeted nervously as it rang and she jumped slightly when they answered.

"Hi Kayce! How are you?" Kaycee smiled as her parents greeted her.

"I'm doing great! How are you?" They gave simple but positive answers then inquired why she called. "Well, I wanted to talk to you guys about Alan." Her father straightened his posture. "It's nothing bad, I promise." Her mother nodded and they waited for Kaycee to speak again. "Well, umm you know that Alan and i have been together for a while." They nodded. "Well..." She held up her left hand and her mother let out an excited shriek.

"Oh my god! My baby is getting married!" Before Kaycee could ask her father how he felt, her mother immediately made plans to fly out the next week so they could see the ring up close and help plan for the wedding. Kaycee smiled and managed to get in a quick goodbye before her mother hung up. Kaycee took a deep breath and leaned back in the chair, letting it out slowly. Alan came up behind her, placing his hands on her shoulders and kissing her head gently.

"So, all is still well with your parents?" Kaycee smirked.

"My mother is ecstatic." Alan quirked a brow up at her.

"And your father?" She shrugged.

"He didn't say much, but he didn't look happy so I'm sure he'l have plenty to say when they arrive next week." Alan pulled her to stand and he wrapped her in his arms, instantly causing her to relax into him.

"Darling, it will be fine. I can put them up in a nice hotel and I'll pay for everything so they can focus on seeing you." Kaycee laughed softly and leaned up to kiss him.

"You're too good for me." Alan chuckled.

"I'm good because of you." Kaycee smiled and kissed him, wrapping her hands around his neck. He let out a low growl, causing Kaycee to giggle. Alan gently held her face by the chin, stroking his thumb against her lower lip. His voice lowered, causing a shiver down Kaycee's spine. "Behave, little girl." Kaycee giggled again, biting her lip. Alan chuckled again and released his grip, trailing his thumb down her neck, watching as she bit her lip harder. Alan smirked to himself as he walked to the kitchen. "Want anything, love?" She came to sit on a chair at the small island in the kitchen.

"I mean I already have you so..." Alan chuckled.

"Well, anything I can do for you?" Kaycee smirked.

"Uh oh, that could cause some trouble." Alan smirked.

"I hear you have a certain proclivity for causing trouble, Ms. Greyson." Kaycee giggled as Alan stepped closer to her. He spun her around and pressed himself against her. She pressed her hands to his chest and Alan watched her as a thought churned in her brain. He tilted her gaze to his.

"What's going on in that pretty little head of yours?" Kaycee blushed.

"Nothing. I was.." Alan quirked his brow. "I was thinking about how I like this shirt." Alan nodded.

"Really?"

"On the floor." Alan smirked and immediately tore the shirt from his torso and tossed it onto the floor.

"Better?" Kaycee giggled, pressing a soft kiss to his bare chest and she smiled.

"Much." Alan smirked and went back to the pot of coffee he was fussing with earlier and began to grab pans and for cooking. Kaycee watched, biting her lip, as the muscles in his arms and torso flexed lightly with each action he did. He looked up momentarily, catching her staring and he smirked.
