Chapter 15

Layla's P.O.V:
-3am-

I couldn't sleep.

I couldn't stop thinking about Brendan.

I decided to go and get some milk.

Maybe I should go to Brendan's.

I opened the door to see Brendan standing right in front of me. He was holding flowers, chocolates and a teddy bear which was holding a card that said "forgive me?"

"I'm so sorry Lay... I respect your decision and I'm happy with whatever makes you happy... If you want to take things slo-" I cut him off by smashing my lips onto his.

Layla's P.O.V:

"I thought you didn't want to date right now" Brendan said shocked by me kissing him.

" I realized that you were right when you said age is just a number... I want to be with you... We can keep it on the down low and we won't get caught" I said. He smiled and kissed me again.

~A Month Later~

It's been a month since Brendan and I have been dating. We went on a few dates and he asked me to be his girlfriend. We haven't told anyone, not even Elena or Logan. I feel bad for keeping this from them but I don't wanna mess anything up yet.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and Brendan is taking me out. I don't know where because he said it's a "surprise".

"LAYYYYY!!! GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE" Elena screamed from the kitchen.

"COMINGGG!!!" I screamed back while running downstairs.

"Okay so since it's Valentine's Day tomorrow wanna do our movie marathon" El said. Every year El and I would do a movie marathon and watch romantic films while eating chocolate.

"I kind of have plans..." I told her.

"Oh..." she began.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you... it was kind of last minute" I told her.

"It's fine... so who's the lucky guy?" She asked. Fuck. What do I say?

"It's this guy I met at work" I replied. She looked at me unsurely.

"When do I get to meet this mystery guy?" She asked me.

"Well I just wanna make sure it goes smooth and then I'll bring him over to meet you" I said. Before she could continue Logan came bursting through the door. Elena and Logan act like nothing happened and Brendan and I act like nothing is going on between us. It's hard but we are doing pretty good so far. Everything was going back to normal... kinda.

"Do you guys ever lock your door?" He asked while grabbing pancakes that El just made.

"Well we did but then you broke it... so..." I replied.

"Oh true" he said. "ANYWAYSSS Elena's do you have any plans tomorrow?"

Well this is my cue to leave. "COMINGGGGG!!" I screamed and ran outside and into Logan's apartment.

Elena's P.O.V:

"ANYWAYSSS Elena's do you have any plans tomorrow?"

Oh My God. He better not be asking me out. My heart started beating so fast that I thought it would pop out of my body.

"COMINGGGGG!!" Layla screamed and ran outside and into Logan's apartment. Wow she's slick.

"Lo-" I began but he cut me off "Look before you say no let me finish. Evan and Brendan have plans and imma be alone. So if you don't have plans I thought we could have a movie marathon or something, is not a date. It's just two friends hanging out" he said.

"Okay sure" I said and then he smiled causing me to smile.

"Great, i'll come over at 5... and thanks for the great food" he said while kissing me on the cheek and with that he left.

Logan's P.O.V:

For the past month I have been acting like nothing happened. Elena and I are back to normal...kinda. It still gets a bit awkward sometimes but at least we're talking.

I still like her and tomorrow we are going to be together alone in the most romantic day of the year, for the first time since New Years.

Let's see how this goes...
