I woke up a little while after, looking around a bit before sitting up. It felt really strange not having anyone watch over me anymore, but then.. I was only thirteen. And I could take care of myself. I got dressed and went outside for some fresh air.
I was taking a walk down the forest and I stopped to take a look at my watch. 5:45..? But the sun hasn't even gone down yet.. I thought as I kept going inside the darkest part of the forest. I remembered going into the forest before my parents were killed, but they demanded I stay away from wolves as they would come out at any time.
Suddenly, I heard a deep snarl that caused me to stop right in my tracks. I looked as I saw a pair of light blue eyes glaring deep at me. "H-Hello..?" I asked softly, but I only received another snarl, as if they were telling me: Get out... And don't ever come back. I backed up a little bit, before paling up as I saw a pair of fangs. "Oh my god.." I started running as the wolf started to pursue me, their eyes turning red as they were thirsty for blood.
I immediately got out of the forest, panicking as I was breathing heavily. Suddenly, I got pinned down by a skinchanger which was a wolf and I tried hard to scream, but they bit into my neck, covering my mouth with their paw. I stopped struggling before my eyes fluttered closed and I blacked out from the loss of blood.
