The first couple of days since Everest's departure were the worst, my wolf was constantly anxious and to make matters worse her father lingered.

I knew he was pissed that I wouldn't tell him where My wife went, and more so do in large part on my refusing to align my pack with his.

"I can make no promises." I said as calmly as I could. This was the third day with him here, the third day he had asked for a meeting with me. "I will not sign an alliance treaty with your pack at this time, however I will revisit the idea once you've stepped down as Alpha...I also have no problem with an alliance treaty being extended to the packs of your children."

"Brooke, Briar, and Ash all have their own packs as either Lunas or an Alpha, Vale has yet to mate or be united and Rich will inherit my own pack when the time comes for me to step down."

I nodded.

"Again, I will revisit the idea of signing an alliance treaty with the pack after you've stepped but know that, that is no guarantee as I will also have to consult with my wife."

"Who is my own daughter." He tried to point out, I picked up on his anger in his words as well.

"Whom you signed away." I growled and stood up from my chair...I had lost my cool.

"I have done you every courtesy in housing you for an extended visit as well as held private audience with you three days in a row, I believe your trip is coming to an end now Alpha Kirkshaw, now for the last time:  I will revisit the idea of signing a treaty with your pack after having spoken with my Luna and after you have stepped down...and more so, to show no ill will if Vale reaches his 22nd birthday and has not found a mate I will personally offer only the best prospects for his union...Now you are free to leave."

He stood up, I knew he wanted to yell or be pissed at me but he maintained his composure, he bowed his head "Alpha Graystone."

And just like that I knew he was finally leaving.

I sat back in my chair and pulled out my phone. I knew it'd be night time over where Everest was but I decided to send her a text anyways.

[Titus: You awake?]

I sat at the desk, waiting for her response, I was glad when she text me back shortly after.

[Everest: I am...you missing me so much that you decided to text me?]

I smiled.

[Titus: I am forever missing you when you are away from me...]

[Titus: Thought you'd like to know your father has left, in a rather bad mood might I add.]

[Everest: I'm glad.]

[Everest: So...what are you doing?]

[Titus: Sitting in my office, nothing special.]

[Titus: You?]

[Everest: Oh...just laying down, it's so hot here...I kinda want to take this nightgown off and just lay here naked.]

My wolf perked up as I thought of Everest naked in bed with us.

Then it hit me...was this one of those sexy text messages she had mentioned?

I couldn't help but smirk and respond.

[Titus: I wish you were here naked with me in bed]

[Everest: And what would you do to me if I was at home...naked in our bed?]

Her mere words mixed with my own wild thoughts had my dick hardening.

[Titus: Well I'd start with my mouth first...letting my tongue explore you.]
