EPILOGUE-Vale-
As I pulled up to the large house I smiled to myself.
These past few years had been good to our family.
One of the staff members walked up to the car and opened the door for me.
"Thanks."
"My pleasure Alpha Kirkshaw." He sounded professionally.
"Please it's just Vale." I tried to offer but the man was already moving to get my bags out of the trunk of the car, I knew it was no use in continuing the conversation with him so I moved on, another staff member opened the front door for me and I nodded at him as a form of thank you.
"Alpha Kirkshaw." He sounded in response.
Despite fully becoming the Alpha of the pack seven years ago, I still wasn't use to the whole Alpha title. I ignored it and sighed upon my entry. But my aggitation fell away the minute I saw my sister.
"Vale." She smiled as she pulled me into a tight hug.
"Hey Evie." I smiled.
She stepped back to look at me, still smiling but this time shaking her head as she looked up at me. "I swear you're taller and taller everytime I see you."
It made me think of when we were younger, I was always the smallest (height-wise) and would get picked on for it. But it was always Evie who would assure me that one day I'd be bigger than the rest of them, that the ones who bullied me would look up to me.
And she was right, despite be the tallest in the family now (6'4") I'm also the Alpha to a majority of my childhood tormentors.
"You always say that." I smirked. "Titus?" I asked as she began to walk us further into the house.
"He and Evan have the boys out so I could get their decorations up, without them seeing and ruining the surprise."
It was hardly a surprise when when they get a party every year...none the less I kept y comment to myself and simply nodded and motioned toward the sofas with my head..."Lets sit down." I suggested.
She gave me a deadpan expression, "Don't tell me you're going to pester me too about taking it easy?" She said in a frustrated sort of tone as she took a seat, her hand involuntarily falling comfortably atop her very pregnant belly."
"Nah, That's what Ash is for...how's my neice doing in there?" I said as I reached over and poked her belly.
She smiled and rolled her eyes as she swatted my hand away. "She is worse than her brothers ever were...We picked a name already."
"About time...kid could come any day now...she stays in there any longer and she'll come walking out." I teased a little, I knew she was worried about going over her due date, It's something that Titus had confided in me the last time we had spoke.
She laughed, "Yeah well I'm just glad everyone could make it for the boys party, if you all are lucky, maybe miss Olivianna will grace us with her presence."
'Olivianna' I smiled, "That's pretty." I sat back and sighed, as I looked at the party decorations. "14..." I shook my head. "Thats the age I was when I had to grow up...I envy my nephews, they never had to know the life we had...but I'm also glad for it."
"Vale, our lives haven't been easy but look at us now." She smiled.
She was right. She and Ash were mated with children, because of them I had a total seven going on eight nephews and nieces.
