-Titus-

As the double doors opened I watched in awe as Everest made her way to me.

I couldn't help but stand there and stare, a huge smile of pure elation etched on my face and it was only for her.

My wolf was beaming with pride as he noticed she was only watching us.

Then suddenly he took over as I couldn't help myself from stepping forward before my father could even bring her fully down the aisle, I met them half way and took her hand gently.

She smiled a rather amused smile as she tried to hold back a laugh.

I realized that I had gone off script and essentially thrown our entire wedding rehearsal out the window, I smirked knowing my mate wouldn't care too much...Phyllis on the other hand was probably having a heart attack.

My father took his seat and I walked my mate up the rest of the aisle and this time I stayed with the order of things as we faced each other and then one of the council members (Henrik) began to speak as our requested officiant.

The entire ceremony was lost on me as everything but Everest was completely ignored.

I couldn't do anything else but look at her, I wanted to remember everything about her right now. The way her veil framed her angelic face, her small wild curls coming loose here and there, but of course it only added to her effortless beauty, Her smile, her sparkling eyes, the calm rise and fall of her chest, her soft and steady warm hands, her confident posture, my mark on full display for all to see.

Just then I noticed her smile turned humorous but only just so, I looked at her questioningly, what was amusing her all of a sudden?

"Titus...Alpha Graystone?" Henrik sounded alongside a few chuckles from our guests.

I snapped out of my daze and looked at him, he was now wearing his own slight smile.

"It's time for the rings."

I nodded, "of course...my apologies." I said as I reached into my tuxedo jacket and withdrew the same ring I had given her on the night we united ourselves to one another.

I recounted the lines as Henrik recited them before placing the wedding band on Everest's finger. Next was her turn and I laughed a little as I had to help her get the ring onto my own finger as this was the first time I had ever worn the wedding band.

"Well then." Henrik said with finality. "I hardly have to say it, but...Titus, you may now kiss your bride."

Never one to be shy or ashamed of my love for my mate, I took her into my arms and kissed her deeply to the sounds of claps and more than a few hyped whistles.

When we pulled apart Everest laughed as the blush from our kiss was slowly fading from her cheeks.

Everyone rose as we made our way down the aisle and back to the fully decorated house.

Once inside I stole another kiss.

"Are you happy My Love?" I asked.

"More than happy." She confessed. "I'm so glad everything came together on such short notice." She said as she looked aorund the place.

I too looked around not having gotten the chance earlier... Clearly we were going for a black tie formal affair here, and I knew Everest had wanted "Romance" and "Elegance."

And indeed Phyllis and Heidi had truly out done themselves to give my bride just that...my one true request was also fulfilled as I asked that there be roses.

So with my one request and all of Everests wants and inputs we now were standing in a very warm and almost cozy space as candles hung from the chandelier as well as various candleabras and floating candles in the centerpieces, the light pink, peach, and cream roses filled towering bouquets as touches of pale grey intertwined here and there in the forms of lacey ribbons and bows.

"This is very pretty." I sounded.

"It's absolutely perfect." she sounded in awe as she walked through the formal dining room and let her fingertips delicately brush against the table cloth. "They've truly just outdone themselves."

Once again I could only marvel at her as she was lost in the moment.

Soon our guests filtered in for the cocktail hour and pictures.

For the first time all day I relaxed and my nerves of my father in law showing up washed away.

Everyone seemed to be having the best time.

There was no drama, business wasn't discussed once, the conversations never ended.

Once we sat down for dinner we gave our speech together, essentially just thanking everyone for supporting us and making the trip up north for the wedding.

The food was delicious and the company was greatly appreciated.

I was thankful that for once I got to sit next to my wife at dinner, so much so we were like a couple of lovestruck teenagers, we held hands under the table, stole glances at one another, and when we thought no one was looking we would kiss here and there, to which someone would always catch us and "aww" or cheer in response.

When the dinner wrapped up we moved the party to the ballroom and everyone cut loose as ties were untied and heels were eagerly removed for cozier slippers provided by Phyllis.

Everyone danced nonstop but Flora and Ash excuses themselves to lay the baby down, I also noticed my beautiful mate try and hide her own yawns.

"Hey." I said as I held her body close and let our bodies sway, "how about we call it an early night."

She smiled but shook her head, "we can't do that."

"Says who?"

She didn't respond, "wouldn't it be rude, I mean our guest...we'll, they came from all over just to see us...-"

"And they have." I smiled as I cut her off playfully dipping her before I kissed her lovely mouth.

She indulged me and giggled when I brought her back upright, I ignored the party goers wolf whistles and smiled. "Love we've fed them, housed them, given them a shit load to drink...I don't think they deserve all of our time as well, plus..." I said dropping my voice a little. "Isn't it customary that a groom gets to enjoy his bride on their wedding night."

I watched as a slow lazy smile filled her face seductively, "or maybe...the bride gets to have her way with her groom."

My eyes darkened, my sexy mate always knew how to get my wolf and I excited. I wasted no time in grabbing hold of her hand and rushing us out of the ballroom not caring that everyone had just seen and more than likely knew what was about to happen.
