I was taking with Heidi When Evan took off.

"I'm pretty suer he's going to pick up Alpha Graystone." She sounded, I could see she was visibly tired, I looked around the room and to be honest everyone seemed tired, disheveled, or relieved.

"You should get some rest." I sounded. When I noticed she was about to protest I offered her a small smile, "I'm fine Heidi...and Titus will be here soon enough."

"Well I promise I will rest once Evan gets back...for now I'm gonna stay up just a bit longer."

I nodded as I fully understood her worry for her boyfriend and hating him by her side, she didn't have to say it out loud for me to know what was going on.

We talked for a while more before the sound of the front door opened. I stood up awaiting anxiously to see my husband but instead I just watched as various family members were escorted into the house....When I saw Ash and his family, Flora rushed over to me and pulled me into  a hug, Ash followed suit. I noticed Vale and Nico were also with them.

"Where's the baby?" I asked.

"We left her with my parents." My sister in law informed me, I didn't want to bring her out with everything looming with uncertainty...this way Ash and I know she's safe."

"And Brooke and Briar...are they going to be coming as well?" I asked my brother this time.

Ash shook his head. "I actually talked with Titus about that earlier, see if he wanted me to get them down to clear their names...I did call them and let them know what was going on but seeing as they both live so far away both Titus and I didn't think they needed to come out." He explained. "I'll give them a call a little later once everything's settled down and let them know you're alright...Have you seen a physician since being back."

"Ash I'm fine." I sighed. "It was Rich who took me, despite that I don't think he was ever going to physically harm me...idiot." I growled.

Now more pissed Ash shook his head, "Regardless, I'd feel a lot better if you got yourself checked out and we knew for sure you were fine...stress is bad for a pregnancy."

I wanted to argue but knew he was right.

Of course I knew the crowded sitting room we were in was filled with people listenig in on our conversation so I look at him and spoke a litte louder.

"Will someone please call my doctor."

It was Phyllis who spoke up, "Right a way Lady Graystone."

"Thank you Phyllis, maybe ask the kitchen staff for some coffee and something small to eat for our guests as well...I know most have been out all morning."

She gave me a soft smile and nodded before disappearing.

Everyone was talking when Titus finally entered the packhouse.

His presence had silently commanded everyone to quickly and quietly leave the room because  before I knew it, it was just him and I.

He walked right over to me, and looked right at me, there was a sadness in his eyes. He reached out and touched my face before he touched his forehead to mine.

Nothing was said, no other thing was done.

I closed my eyes and fought back a few tears, I didn't want him to see me crying over this...to me this was all stupid.

Rich is an idiot who hadn't thought this through at all, more so by doing this he had involved not only our families but as Titus was worried he damn near started a war by gathering his allies in search of me.

He finally sighed and moved to kiss my forehead and place a hand on my belly before he took my hands into his, a weak smile formed on his face, "I missed you."

"Titus."

He shook his head, I could tell he was trying to be strong right now...I hadn't realized how much hurt this had all caused him.

"We'll talk later Love...right now we have business to attend to."

I nodded.

"Will you accept my judgments as not only the Alpha of this pack but also your Mate?" He asked.

Once again I nodded, I knew by agreeing that I'd go along with whatever choices he made and I wouldn't question him either.

"Wait here."

"Now hold on," I spoke up. "I Agree to whatever you want to do down there and won't challage you in anyway when it comes to a punishment for Rich, won't even question you...but I am the Luna of this pack and I will not be left out of this."

"Love please try and understand...-"

"I mean it, I'm going down there." I held my composure as I stood firm on this.

With a deep breath he nodded I watched as he moved to the backyard (where everyone had excused themselves)

I couldn't shake the fact that I had somehow offended him, I understand that things may get tricky down there, but what's done is done and everyone here understands that punishment is now due.

When he came back in he was accompanied by Evan, His Father, Ash, Vale, and the two other council members.

When he didn't immediately come to my side I was a little hurt, even my wolf found it a bit odd.

"I will say this only once" Titus said to the guys, "...EVERYONE downstairs is currently a prisoner on my lands for the crimes committed against my Luna and in turn my pack...we are going down to cast consequence to the actions performed...since this happened to my pack on my own packlands the judgments lie with me, know that anyone who objects me will immediately be seen as my enemy...do you elect to join me downstairs freely and of your own accord?"

All the men wore serious expressions as they took in his words and firmly nodded their silent agreements, both of my brothers included. I caught Vale's attention momentarily, but as soon as he had look at me he immediately cast his eyes downward.

Once again I couldn't help but feel a little hurt by the action...was he upset with me too, or perhaps it was my husband who now stood next to me that he was weary of, given his current toughened state.

I chanced a small glance at my husband...it was the first time I've ever felt intimidated by him...not even the first time meeting him did I feel this way...then again, I'd never seen him this angry.

There was an empty coldness to his eyes right now, and the fact that he didn't make any move to show me any form of affection meant he wasn't my husband right now...right now he was Alpha Graystone and he had a job to do.

My wolf whined...she wanted our mate just as much as I did.

I noticed his eyes flick to me every so slightly before he forced hisself to look forward. He must've sensed my wolf's sadness...he was ignoring me.

I had to be honest, out of all the shit I had dealt with...this was the worse. Having my mate purposely ignore me was like hell.

I sighed in defeat as I knew my own stubbornness and determination to join him had caused his entire attitude towards me. But whatever, He could be as mad as he wanted to be, and if ignoring me was my punishment then so be it, but there was no way I wasn't going to stand by his side as his made this decision.

"Let's get this over with." He said before turning to make his way to the the basement.
