His Crazy Little Luna

It wasn't exactly a secret to anyone just how much I adore my wife...but I couldn't imagine loving her anymore than I already did, until this morning when I recieved the call telling me I was going to be a father.

Now I'm sitting in the backseat of this car with my most cherished things in the entire wolrd.

I wanted to let everyone know of happiness.

And yet, that pit deep in my stomach began to overwhelm me, and as we pulled up to the Pruitt house I understood why.

I hadn't been back here since before Maggie was taken from us. And pulling up the drive way knowing she wasn't going to be in the house was now filling me with an eerier feeling.

"Are you alright my Husband?"

I refused to let her see me as anything other than elated for us during this trip.

Lifting the hand I was already holding within my own I placed a lovely kiss onto the back of it, "Everything is perfect my love, and I'm just wanting to get the formalities out of the way so I can have my wife alone without any interruptions."

Her eyes darkened in a very tempting way.

I didn't think I could want her any more than I already did...but it seems as if her pregnancy made me want her all the more.

Unfortunately everyone was waiting on us to exit the car.

I sighed and got out of the car first before lovingly and with as much care as possible I assisted her in exiting the vehicle.

She rolled her eyes but smiled, "I'm not an invalid my love."

I didn't hesitate to kiss her once to acknowledge that I heard her.

I walked us up the steps to join the Pruitt's, I noticed Nico was notably absent, but I didn't comment on it as he has never really liked me from the beginning.

No doubt he'd possibly hate me for moving on from Maggie even more than he hated me for being with her.

Victor greeted me warmly with a fastherly sort of hug, and Lydia pulled me into a tight hug and smiled a teary eyed smile at me...I'm sure she knew about the babies.

"Alpha Graystone, we have set up a room for your Luna and yourself over at the pack house, and as luck would have it the packhouse is currently empty of any residents so you should have optimum privacy." Alpha Pruitt sounded.

"And I've taken the liberty of having your belongings already sent over My Lady." Heidi sounded, "If I may, I'd like to remain here for the duration of our stay?"

Everest smiled and nodded before thanking her cousin and soon we were all shown inside.

There I noticed Nico.

His parents brought him over to greet me.

He bowed his head respectively. "Alpha Graystone." He sounded tightly.

"Nico," I replied, "If I could...a word please."

He silently obliged me by leading the way toward the backyard.

Once we reached the backyard and the doors were securely closed behind us, I sighed and he spoke easily.

"So you just moved on from her huh?"

I shook my head, "No...and I never could to be honest...Maggie, she allways had a way of filling my thoughts...even in death she haunts me constantly."

"But you married Everest."

"Out of commitment." I replied.

He rolled his eyes, "And marking her...was that out of commitment too?"
