"Would I be so bold as to wish to dance with you?" inquired Yukari as she shut the book on her lap, her head turned to the only other presence in the room who seemed so bewilderedly amused by the question.

"Why dancing?" he chuckled, setting down his glass of wine.

"It's been a while since we've danced." She said in almost a whisper, stroking the smooth paperback, smiling as she reminisced "Of course it was different then."

"How so?" inching closer silently, Shogo raised an eyebrow in interest.

"It's just how it is." She smiled and inched towards him, feeling the couch under her palm "I'm different. We're different." A tone of sorrow laced itself in her voice and he couldn't help but reach out and caress her cheeks "I guess the comforting thing is that you're still the same."

"I don't see any difference." He said and swept her up in his arms, carrying her towards the big window before setting her down, her arms still held onto him tightly.

They stood there with the moon gazing over their fates, hands entwined and a sweet tune that neither needed to sing out loud.
