"Hey Shogo, do you ever feel bored?" she said in almost a whisper, her fingers caressing the book placed on her lap, she looked towards the seat next to her but failed to feel the presence she expected. Sighing softly, she closed the book and felt her way to the big glass door.
"Hey Shogo, do you ever wish something was just a little bit more vibrant? As though there is still something more, and yet you cannot grasp it?" she turned to the kitchen and waited for a reply. But all she got was silence "I must be going mad."
She stood there, drawing random patterns, dull eyes stared uninterested into the dark void. The entrance door opened and snapped her out of her thoughts. A greeting came, along with soft footsteps. He came into the room and was surprised to see a brightly lit happy face, adorned with a smile as beautiful as ever.
"Oh goodness me, you're finally back." She whispered, head tilted to the side before her face faltered and her eyes fluttered shut. He quickly ran over to catch the falling woman but was a split second too late, the locks of her hair slipping through his fingers like silk.
