"Salem. What is your plan for... this?"
"This, my dear, will be our key for success."
"What point is there to having this thing when you aren't going to do anything with it."
"Patience. I did not create this Natara for nothing. Everything will be revealed in due time."
"..."
"As you wish Salem."
I heard a door closing and a small hum called out from the darkness. I felt a small vibration as my body felt weightless. Where was I..?
"My dear... Dear Natara. Such plans I have in store for you."
I heard footsteps fading as I tried to move. I felt my fingers twitch as I took note of the delay. This felt... Strange.
I tried moving different parts of my body and felt the sluggish movement, it felt like I was stuck in something... I tried to open my eyes but when I did everything seemed to blur. Where was I..? I forced my arm to reach out and felt the end of whatever this was.
It felt hard but also... slightly transparent? Could I possibly break this?
I forced my body to move as I felt myself breaking away from whatever held me still. I pressed my body against the edge and saw a crack before my arm managed to break through. I blinked as I pushed myself forward and broke out of it. I fell the the ground, the sound of whatever liquid dropping with me as I coughed it out as well.
I shakily got to my feet as I looked myself over. I believe I was what we call... Human... Or what I saw in my visions. My body was that of a human at least, although I noticed a strange resemblance to "Grimm".
My mind went back to what the two voices had spoke about. Were they speaking of me..? Was I what this... Salem called... A Natara?
I cleared my mind as I stepped forward, I walked along the wall as I observed the room I was in. It was big, grand even. It seemed to only have held me in it. Or at least the egg I had apparently came from. I opened the door and looked out as I saw nothing. Where was I?
I walked along the corridor, ignoring the bright red sky outside the window as I opened a door to see a strange portal. Curiosity got the better of me as I went towards it. I poked it but nothing had seemed to happen. I cautiously stepped forward and soon I had apeared in a stranger world. Where the sky was blue unlike the red one I had seen before. I looked at myself again to realise the fabric on me.
Clothes..?
I looked around before I explored this world I had entered. It seemed so grand, so exotic... Almost beautiful. But I had also seen the hideous side of it. The "Grimm" that wander it.
I closed my eyes for a moment as I came to stop by a lake. It was remarkble how different the two worlds were.
Then I started thinking.
If they had called me a Natara... What exactly am I? Was I a Grimm? But I had a human like body. Other than the strange black scales I had noticed, I was like a human.
"Hello there."
I turned back slightly to see a strange man, his aura seemed calming. He wasn't going to hurt me.
"Greetings." I responded, my voice rough from its lack of use, "Where am I, stranger?"
"Remnant." He spoke as I observed him. Brown eyes, silver hair. Green calming aura.
"Remnant..." I whispered as I looked back to the lake, "Tell me about this... Remnant."
"How about we have this over a cup of coffee? Or do you perhaps like tea?" He asked as I closed my eyes with a small hum.
"I have never tried either of those before. Let's try both." I responsed as I got up and calmly followed him.
"May I ask how you got here?" He questioned as we walked side by side, him being slightly taller than me.
"I don't know. I walked through a strange place and simply stepped through a portal." I replied.
"What do you remember?" He asked and I stopped for a bit, head tilted slightly as I stared at the ground.
"I remember... Voices." I muttered, "I was... Am... Known as something this Salem person called as a... Natara."
"Natara..?" He questioned.
"I am not so certain either. I had only just hatched... Or I believed I hatched..." I muttered as everything seemed almost uncertain, "I broke out of an egg and managed to wander until here."
"An... Egg?" He muttered as I saw the building up ahead. It was huge and beautifully made.
"What is this place?" I asked him and he looked to where I was staring at.
"Ah. It seems we have arrived. Welcome to Beacon. An Academy where we train Huntsmen and Huntresses to combat against the Grimm. Monsers which plague Remnant." He explained.
"I see..." I replied as we walked into Beacon. As we walked by, I noticed people staring at us. I observed them in return. They all seemed... Fragile.
The man led me into a room and we soon sat down.
"Now then. Shall we chat?" He asked with a small smile.
"Of course. May i ask your name?" I questioned.
"Ah. Forgive my rudeness. My name is Professor Ozpin."
