Niall girls go: Wey Hey
Sofia's POV
Harry is now getting on my nerves. Since what happened yesterday, he seems to think that everything is fine. That we can go back to the way it was. Maybe he needs a quick dose of reality because everything is not fine.
Sometimes, people need to understand that some things won't go back to the way they were.
"Get into pairs of two!" We're doing warm-ups!" Our P.E. teacher stated.
Groans emerged from the class, including myself.
"Hey, Sof, want to pair?" Monica suggested, jogging over to my side.
"Sure; let's do it." I smiled as Eighth Grade Emily nudged my arm.
"I was planning on asking y-"
"Hey, Em!" Kellee chirped, her eyes gleaming with joy at her best friend.
"Oh, I thought you were absent, Kellee!" Emily turned to her, matching Kellee's mood.
"Never mind!" Emily sung, sprinting away with Kellee as I laughed at her sudden change.
"Well, aren't they cute!" Monica sarcastically said, rolling her eyes at their friendship and I laughed once again.
"Oh, c'mon!" I nudged her shoulder and jogged towards the field.
This week, we were doing soccer . . . again.
For some odd reason, the teacher's lessons got repeated and that is what got us into soccer.
I'm starting to think that the boys are behind all of these coincidences and odd reasons.
"Okay, class! So today, we have a volunteer with us." The teacher said, his eyes nervously scanning over the girl portion of the group.
"Some of you, mostly the girls, may know who this person is." He cautiously explained as the girls stood on their tippy toes trying to see who the goalie was.
"Aye, mate! Next time have better aim, yeh?" That's when curiosity overthrew my will power to resist and I raised my head to see who it was.
A wisp of blond hair appeared and that enough confirmed my suspicions.
"But don't pay much attention to him. He's just here to help, not to flirt." Our teacher warned, emphasizing certain words.
"Other than that, you may begin." He lastly said, blowing his whistle.
The first pair who were considered to be the best soccer players in the class, passed it amongst each other and when it came to score the goal, they kicked it and Niall caught it with a strong grip.
"Next!" Niall said, throwing the ball back to our teacher as the class gazed in astonishment.
Nervous glances were exchanged, including the teacher. Well, who wouldn't, honestly? The top two soccer players just got their shot deflected easily, it wasn't as if it were hard for Niall to catch the ball. If their ball got deflected, then what's in it for the rest of us?
"Well? We're gonna continue or not?" Niall called out, clapping his hands together in eagerness.
"Getting a bit prideful there!" The teacher screamed out, his eyes glinting as if he were enjoying us getting our butt kicked by a 'volunteer.'
"What can I say? I am a decent goalie." Niall mischievously grinned as our teacher shook his head, a smile on his face, too.
"So . . . next!" And we went on.
