You guys tried . . . So I'm giving you guys the binge for at least trying. :)

                                        Sofia's POV

The next day, I walked by the office only to see one more new girl...

This always happens in the second quarter of school! Always!

I walked up to her and introduced myself, just like I did the day before with the other new girls.

"Hello there!" I said with a grin and she looked at me with a shy expression.

"Hi." She said while looking down at the pavement.

"Are you new here?" I asked her and that's when she looked up and gave me a small smile.

"Yeah..." She trailed off, running a hand through her blonde hair.

"I'm Katelyn." Katelyn said while extending her hand and I shook her hand with a grin.

"I'm Sofia and I welcome you to the land where idiots are the most common thing you see!" I exclaimed and she laughed.

"For example, Exhibit A." I said while pointing to the garden, where there was a cute Eighth Grader spraying silly string to every single plant, oblivious to the fact that there was an administrator in the back, watching him in disbelief.

"Hey! What are you doing?!" The administrator said while marching up to the student in fury and that's when the guy fled towards the courtyard.

"Exhibit B!" I presented as I tugged her along.

A very prideful Seventh Grader stood on top of a trashcan and tried to balance himself on one foot which resulted in him falling through the hole of the trashcan.

"Morons." Another administrator muttered under his breath and calmly walked towards the scene as the Eighth Graders laughed at his sorry ass.

"Okay, that was much more foolish than Exhibit A." She said while pointing at the Seventh Grader that was now getting pulled out of the trashcan.

"I agree with ya, mate!" I said, my Australian accent coming out without warning, making Katelyn laugh.

"But finally, Exhibit C." I said as I got out of her way so that she can see what was happening on the middle of the courtyard.

"Hey, everyone! Andrew brought a gun to school!" A pitchy voice shrilled, probably coming from a boy as everyone's eyes landed on the scrawny boy who was in the middle of the courtyard with what appeared to be a shotgun in his hands.

He cocked the gun and when most of expected bullets to fly out of the menacing firearm, water hit the four administrators who were steadily surrounding him, taking them all by surprise at how fast the situation escalated.

"That's an idiot right there." Katelyn said while shaking her head.

"Didn't I tell you? But wait! There's more!" I said to her and she laughed and that was the moment where Katelyn and I became best friends.

But little did I know that our friendship would be tested...

By the needs of one boy.

Who will be that boy? You tell me. x
