Chapter Thirty Nine

It has been three months since I gave birth to the triplets and that craziness that happened with Erica. I knew something was up when we didn't hear from her. I stayed as calm as I could when she was in my hospital room calling my babies hers. I was so glad that security came when they did or else I would have beat the bitch.

Two weeks after getting home from the hospital we were able to move into our house. I was in love with what the designer had done. I also made sure that we had a safe room built and I made Rylan put up a security fence. I knew that we wouldn't be seeing or hearing from Erica for a long time, but I didn't want to take chances.

After having that incident in the hospital and having her sent to the psych ward Rylan called her family. They apologized for her behavior and we found out that not only did she do drugs, but after Rylan dumped her she had literally lost her mind. They told us that they found a notebook full of her plans in her apartment. Her goal was to get Rylan to fall in love with her again and they would have a family, but I was in the way. We saw the notebook and she had plans of killing me. She was diagnosed by a doctor saying she was psychotic and her parents admitted her and she would be in there until they decide she is ready to be in social settings again.

"Elizabeth, have you decided on a wedding date?" Mallory asked me.

We were currently  having lunch while the babies slept and Emmie played outside.

"Rylan and I have been talking and we were thinking April 26th."

"This year?"

"Yea."

"That is like four months away."

"I have already started planning. We decided that we would just go with a small wedding. Close family and friends. We actually wanted to have it here in your backyard. You have the garden and that beautiful lake back there."

"Of course you can have it here!"

"Thank you! My mom is going to be doing all the food, drinks, and cake. Emmie is the flowergirl. Tennyson and Anna are my bridesmaids and Luke and Theo are the groomsmen. I am going dress shopping for my dress as well as the other girls dresses in a few weeks. Would you like to come with?"

"I would love to!" She had tears in her eyes.

"Oh Mallory, please don't cry."

"They are happy tears. I never thought that Rylan would get married first, let alone at all and he couldn't have picked a better woman to marry."

"That is so sweet Mallory."

I started tearing up. Just then Rylan came walking out with Lillian in his arms.

"Someone woke up." He said smiling.

He was so in love with her. He was in love with all of our children, but Lillian was a daddy's girl and there was no denying it. She always smiled at him and it was the cutest thing  ever. I went to dinner with Anna one night so that I could see how Rylan did with the babies by himself. When I got home the kitchen was a mess, but the babies were bathed and in their cribs. Well except for Lillian. Rylan was asleep in bed with Lillian laying on top of him sleeping soundly.

"Is she hungry?"

"I just think that she wanted someone to hold her." He smiled big.

"Yea. She wanted her dad."

His smile got even bigger. He loved that she always wanted him too much.

"So Elizabeth was just telling me about the wedding plans."

"Really?"

"Yes. Why didn't you tell me that you decided on a date."

"We have kind of been busy with raising some babies, but we were going to tell you."

"I know. I am just playing around. Anyways, I assume the reception will be here as well?"

"Yes. We hired a dj."

"Fantastic. You have it all planned out."

"That we do. We will be putting the honeymoon off until the babies are a little bit bigger."

"Why don't you just let family watch them? You know everyone would love to have them."

"I know, but we just don't want to put all that on you guys. You have done so much, by letting Emmie and I stay with you and just everything else. I would feel bad if I just dumped our babies on you while we go for a honeymoon."

"You aren't dumping them on us. We are asking to take them. We are family. We do these things for each other."

"Thank you, but I haven't even thought about where to go for a honeymoon."

"Well you still have some time."

After lunch we grabbed the kids and told Mallory and Harrison goodbye.

"So where do you want to go for a honeymoon?" Rylan asked.

"Honestly? Maybe Fiji, Bora Bora, or maybe go on a cruise. Paris sounds lovely, but that is where lots of people want to go for their honeymoon. Along with Hawaii."

"Those all sound like perfect places. Now that I have an idea, I will be planning the entire honeymoon." He smiled cheekily.

"What? I wanted to be a part of it."

"You are planning the entire wedding. Let me do this for you."

"Okay." I smiled.

I trusted that he would pick the perfect place. After getting home we just lounged around for a while. Theo and his girlfriend were supposed to be coming over for dinner.

Yep. You heard that right. Theo has a girlfriend. Her name is Loraine and she was one of my nurses the day I gave birth. She was also there the day that Erica went crazy and the day I was discharged. She told me that she thought Theo was pretty cute and I played matchmaker and they went on a date and now here they are dating.

"So do you think that Theo and Loraine are getting serious?" I asked Rylan.

"I think so. He really likes her. He likes her so much."

"That is sweet. I am glad to see him so happy."

"Me too. "

I was really happy with where we were at in life. I couldn't wait for the day that we get married.

THE END
