"What's wrong with you?"

"What do you mean?"

"Babe you've been white faced since the story telling was over, everyone's eating so just tell me." Andrew leans in closer.

"Andr- dad, I'm just-" how could you say this nicely-"Overwhelmed I guess. I'm spooked."

"I get it. Yup. About what exactly?"

"The wedding mostly. Ghosts being here. I don't know choose a favorite."

"Oh trust me, my wedding was almost a myth. I got the coldest feet. Your mother dragged me out there by my collar; that woman was a blessing."

You smiled.

"So how you dealing with the Queen stuff?"

Your mouth formed an 'o' shape. "I was kidnapped. It's nothing really. I'm fine now."

He pulled you into a huge hug, "Baby I'm sorry. I'd kill the sumabitch if I could. I'm just a lowly spirit thing you know."

"Don't say that, you don't know how much I've dreamed of this moment. I thought it was impossible."

You started tearing up, smiling.

"Aw don't do that, I've known you for like an hour kiddo don't cry on me now!"

"Dad!" Your words are choppy as your tears run down the smile on your face. "I'm so sorry."

He wraps his arms around your waist and lifts you into the air. "My baby's all grown but she's still a lil baby! I didn't miss anything!!" he yelled excitedly.

"I'm not a baby!" You say as he wipes a streak of tears of your cheek.

"Tell me that again when you're not crying kid."

"I'm not!"

"And my daughter is a liar. Tsk tsk. What a shame, you seemed like a great kid."

You smile and wipe your eyes, "Only something along those lines."

"Aw come on, tell me (Y/n) how are you? I know you don't want small talk, but I don't know how long we have left." his eyes darted to Danielle, so quickly it was like it never happened.

You look at her and stare. "Yeah...." You didn't know how long you had left. How in the world are you supposed to tell your father everything he's missed especially when you might have mere minutes left.

"You know, whatever happens, I love you. You're the one great thing that came from my life. I just wish I could've been there for you. You mean the world to me." His words hurt you to hear. He was so sincere and your heart heaved.

"I know." All you could manage.

"I hope that this schmuck can treat you right." Even though he tried to lighten the mood you could feel the sadness in each syllable.

You choke back a little squeak. "He does."

He pets your head and ruffles your hair." You'll get your happy ever after. Hell, seeing what you can do-" he brings his voice to a whisper " I would want you to do what it takes cause you deserve it. Kill a bastard if ya gotta."

You raise an eyebrow. "I'm no animal."

"We can be if we gotta be. You're a Rose. We do what we gotta do."

'I am a Rose.' Your head swirled. You've always been a Rogers, not a Rose. You didn't even know your dad's name until now.

"I'm a Rose." It slipped out.

Andrew smiled. "I'm so glad that you actually think so." You could see the pain in his eyes. No one has ever been a Rose. Especially his Rose.

"I'm your little Rose blossom." Your smile came naturally, as you thought this was a cute little nickname. 'If I ever have a kid that's gonna be the shit yo.'

He laughed and pulled you into a knuckle sandwich. "My little blossom is a gullible turd though! She's distracted easily!"

You shove back and chuckle. "You just started a war you can't win old man."

"Now listen, I want you to treat her right or I will haunt you till the day you die." The voice turns to a whisper,  "And then I'll annoy the ever loving fuck out of you." Danielle smiles ever so sweetly at Loki.

His eyes widen for a moment, and then an eyebrow is raised. "I have to say if I ever mistreat Lady (Y/n) I wish to be smited where I stand." He smiles. "I just don't think I could ever."

"Frigga your child pleases me."

"Daneel your child pleases us. She's done so much to help protect Asgard and it's royalty. I cannot express how amazing she is." Frigga responds.

She goes off explaining the times when you had visited Asgard. All the fallout with Sigyn, and Loki filled in Danielle on all the stuff that Frigga didn't even know about.

"She's going to be a powerful and benelovent ruler." She spoke softly, yet full of assurance.

"I agree." Frigga responds.

"Does she want to rule?" Loki asked.

Danielle stops smiling. "She needs to decide quickly. Either way sacrifices will have to be made."

"Can she not split her time?" Loki continued.

"A queen must choose the most important thing for herself and her kingdom. Sometimes her kingdom suffers, but mostly she suffers."

"Mother?"

"She's right Loki, I've made sacrifices I wish I didn't. So has Daneel."

"You just have to support her decision, and try to lean her towards her kingdom. I might have to force her hand so she does what's best for her." Danielle said.

"That's not what you did." Loki said.

Danielle raised an eyebrow. "Excuse me?"

"Loki-" Frigga started.

"No mother. I'm right." He looked back at Danielle. "You chose your heart over your kingdom. You chose Sir Andrew instead of any of the suitors you had lining the walls of your castle for a chance to court you. (Y/n) has already sacrificed so much, and she does what's right rather than what she wants. You cannot try to force her hand because you would be a hypocrite. You chose love over your duties and cannot expect (Y/n) not to think about doing the same?"

Danielle sat silently looking at Loki with a hard expression on her face. It was difficult for him to read her and to understand what she's thinking.

"You may be right, but you have not ran a kingdom yourself, so you do not know what it takes. I will do what I must for my people and plan to not make anymore mistakes while I still have the time to address their situation and fix it. You cannot interfere with what you have no say in child."

Frigga sighs. "Daneel you can't force her because she has to want to make the decision on her own."

"I made my own mistakes, and the people of Muspelhiem shouldn't suffer because of them."

"But-" Loki began.

"SILENCE."
