POV: Samantha
I rolled my eyes as I waited on my front porch crossing my literally white legs over each other to keep them from shaking.
Of course she was late. When was she ever on time.
Of course, Sydney is older than me. Therefore, she got her license before me.
I stood up, smoothing my short dress as I did so.
It wasn't much. Just enough to pass for the theater and dinner afterward.
It was a short, navy blue dress, with a couple of layers on the top. The straps were about 3 fingers wide, maybe 2. Wasn't too revealing. I wore regular black flats and a black pendent around my throat. It was such a dark outfit compared to my white skin and bright red hair. I wore my hair in a twisted messy bun with a couple of curls hanging down near the back of my ears and out of the bun itself. I tried to put on as little make up as I could since none of my foundation was actually light enough for me... So I just put on some bottom eyeliner and mascara and just a tiny bit of earthy green on my eyelids that had a little bit of sparkle. It was barely noticeable.
And now I'm just sitting here waiting for Sydney to hurry her slow ass up and pick me up for the cinema.
My bra vibrated and I gasped in surprise. I had forgotten I had put my phone there because I didn't have pockets...
I picked up the phone and answered quickly.
"Sydney?" I rushed before she could say anything. "Where the fuck are you? We are going to be late!"
"Calm your ass chick.. I'm pulling into your neighborhood now. I was just making sure you were outside." She said laughing at the nervousness that was apparent in my voice.
"Whatever, just please hurry..." I said sadly.
"Impatient to meet THE Nash are we?" She said giggling.
"N-no... Just shut up Sydney." I growled and hung up.
I finally saw her headlights pulling around the dark curb that led to my house.
She screeched to a halt in front if my driveway her blonde head hanging out her window.
"I worry that you'll crash and die sometimes Sydney..." I sighed as I walked around to the passenger side.
"Aw but you'd miss me too much." She purred when I sat down.
Sydney wasn't one to really wear dresses so her dress was a bit toned down, but was none of the less the complete opposite of mine. Hers was all white with a top that curved over her flat chest and a lace covering that covered her shoulders and some more of her chest. The bottom went to about mid upper thigh like mine. She had a brown stylish belt that separated the top and bottom. The difference is she was actually tan an could pull off a white outfit where as in I am pale white so I have to go dark. Her dirty blonde hair was pulled into a French braid down her shoulder. She had specified hairs pulled out along with her bangs. To complete her outfit she had a pair of tan sandal wedges with crisscross straps.
"Nice outfit." I stated still trying contain my nerves.
"Calm down Ginger. It's movies and dinner. You shall survive." She rolled her eyes as she sped out of my neighborhood and towards the theater.
Of course I would survive.
The question was, would I make a fool of myself before the fact?
