(AUTHOR's NOTE: apparently this chapter didn't post so just in case it didn't.... Here it is again.) POV: Sam

I groaned as I pushed on my head that was currently being held up by my hands while I was sitting down in the hallway of the hospital.

I felt Nash rub my back comfortingly, but it wasn't helping.

I had no idea what had come over me in the hospital room.

FLASHBACK

The child had looked innocent enough when I had walked in, he even looked adorable.

That thought was quickly abolished when I felt a sharp pain in my head like someone was stabbing it repeatedly.

That's when I saw it.

In between the blinding pain I saw the child morph into an older version of himself.

Then came the visions, each one with the boy a little older. Each one coming and leaving rapidly.

One of the visions had struck me worse than the others.

It was the boy, looking around 6 years old and he was outside in the snow. He was turned away from me, so I could only see his back. He was just standing there, looking straight ahead of him and into the woods in front of him.

In the vision I somehow rotated around until I was able to see his face.

I tried to scream, but I couldn't seem to get enough air.

He had deep brown eyes and brown chopped hair, but what struck me was the drops of deep red splattered on himself and smeared on his face around his mouth. Then laying on the ground was some type of creature, but it was too mutilated to recognize it. Blood and fur had ruined the perfectly white snow.

My heart seemed to almost explode out of my chest with how hard it was thumping.

The boy didn't seem to see me standing there and I was unable to move away from the scene.

Then I felt something attacking me and I snapped out of the vision and stared wide eyed at Nash who was currently trying to tug me out of the room.

"Wait! No! We can't leave him alone with them!" I screamed in protest as I tried to fight my way back into the room.

"Sam you have to calm down." Nash had directed quietly as he restrained me from hitting my already sore head.

I could feel tears dripping from my face now as I reached the wall and slid down it.

END FLASHBACK

I took a deep breath and looked at Nash.

"I'm sorry I flipped out, but I really did see something. I'm not making this up." I muttered to him.

I heard Nash sigh as he slid down the wall next to me and wrapped an arm around me comfortingly.

"I believe you, but I doubt Sydney will." He pointed out quietly.

"I didn't mean to..." I whispered quietly as I felt tears rush to my eyes again. "He's a demon, I know it." I tried to say strongly, but instead it came out a weak whimper.

"You're just stressed..." Nash pulled me closer to him and I felt him kiss my forehead.

I nodded, trying to banish the thoughts of the child being a demon.

I just couldn't get his smirking face out of my head.
