-Alice's Point of View-
. . .
"Why don't you just tell him?" Edward asked.
I was too busy rearranging my entire bedroom so that all of us girls including Emmaline, could fit in here.
"Make yourself useful and push the bed against that wall and then take these chairs downstairs for the night."
With a sigh Edward pressed the large queen sized bed against the back wall as I asked him to and with lightening speed he picked up the chairs and ran them downstairs, more than likely into the dining room so they'd be out of sight before he returned to my bedroom.
It really is a lovely room, although the closet isn't the biggest I've had I shall miss it just the same once I'm gone.
"You and I both know he's only going to keep her at arms length." He pressed.
I rolled my eyes, he wanted me to tell Jasper that Emmaline is his true love. Even worse, he wanted me to tell Jasper the exact vision I had, how I had seen him happy with Emmaline. But I try not to mention anything to anyone if I can (Edward excluded because he always listens in when I'm having a vision) because things can change in the drop of a hat.
"That is why I'm going to get her to see what a great guy he is and make her admit to liking him so that she can pursue him." I admitted with a satisfied smile.
"That's idiotic."
I scoffed.
"I merely stated that the plan is idiotic, not you." He clarified, "although I can't help but question your sanity now if you really think that's going to work."
"It has to." I said as I slumped onto the bed, "I know they'll be happy and I know I will be happy as well, one of them just has to cave and give 'them' a shot."
"It's never that simple Alice, we both know that." Edward stated.
I nodded.
"Whether he likes it or not, I'm still seeing the same visions of them so nothing has changed."
"You'll let me know if anything changes?" He asked as he casually leaned against the bed post with his arm crossed lightly over his chest.
"Of course, you'll always be the first person I call." This was true, for as long as I could remember Edward is always the person I call if anything happens, whether it's through his mind reading abilities or on the phone. In hindsight this should have been a sign that Jasper wasn't my true love, surely he would've been the one I would automatically turn to, but he never was.
"Well Emmaline is coming over," I suddenly stated as a small vision of her here tonight popped into my head. "I suppose I should get some snacks set up for her and Nessie."
Edward nodded his head before we both exited my room.
. . . . .
"I'm so glad you could make it." I happily greeted Emmaline as I hugged her and then took her bag.
"Thanks for inviting me."
I waved her words away "it really is my pleasure." I insisted. "We'll take your things up to my bedroom and then I'll give you the grand tour."
Emmaline followed closely behind me as we went upstairs.
"Wow your room is great."
"Thanks, it's been a while since I've had my own room." I commented, "so I really went all out on decorating it."
It was true, I had much more pale pink, lace, and fresh flowers than I've ever had.
"Well it's pretty."
I smiled, "alright you and Nessie will take the bed, Rose, Bella and I will take the floor so go ahead and just put your stuff there."
"Where are the others?"
"Oh they went out for awhile, couples stuff." I filled her in.
She smiled a sweet smile and then nodded.
"Well I suppose since we're up here I'll go ahead and show you the bedrooms on both upstairs levels."
"Are you sure no one will mind?" She asked cautiously.
I nodded, I had checked with everyone earlier.
"Well this room right here is Remesme and Jacob's room." I said opening the door. "Carlisle and Esme figured since they're in a relationship there was no breaking any of them up so they just let them share rooms. But don't worry nothing happens especially with Bella and Edward right next door." I finished as I walked to the next door and opened it.
"That's right, Bella and Renesme are actually blood related right?"
I nodded, Esme must've told her they were sisters or something. I walked us up to the third floor. "There are only two rooms up here, this one is Rose and Em's room." I walked us in this time. "You gotta check out their closet, I really wanted this room but I figured they should have it since it's the both of them."
Emmaline walked with me to the double doored closet.
"I don't know where you lived before but this closets pretty standard. Now you want to see a closet, you should see my moms closet. When we first moved in the house was a five bedroom now we have a four bedroom and a massive closet. My mom can get a little carried away when it comes to shopping." She admitted.
"She sounds great."
This time she shrugged, "she's great when you can actually get a chance to spend with her."
I didn't have to be Jasper to pick up her slight sadness. Which reminded me, "well there's still one more room up here before I show you the downstairs rooms."
She nodded and we left the room.
"This is actually a pretty long hallway." She pointed out.
"It's their bathrooms." I confessed. Esme had designed these two rooms to share the same plumbing but in order to do so it meant it would required a long hallway. We reach the door and I knocked.
"Come on" I instructed as I grabbed her hand and pulled her into the room lightly.
