-Jasper's Point of View-
. . .
"Did you do it?" Emmett walked up to me and asked, Rosalie standing worriedly by his side.
"Yeah, she just left." I said as I removed the cowboy hat, "we should probably take off here pretty soon."
"Do you think she'll say anything?" Rose asked, her voice full of worry.
I shook my head no, "I think she's just trying to process everything still, her emotions were all over the place but none of them were angry or malicious, more sad and hurt."
"We'll get everyone, why don't you go on home." Rose instructed.
I took off but I didn't go home, I ended up running to Emmaline's, I ran around back and easily climbed up to her balcony. I could see her on her bed, sadness radiated off of her even from outside.
I wanted to throw the doors opens and take her crumpled form into my arms as I washed her with waves of calm, unfortunately that could make matters worse so I placed the hat on her rocking chair and silently said goodbye, I would wait for her until she made a decision, but for that she would have to reach out to us.
. . . . .
-Emmaline's Point of View-
I tried to go about the weekend as normally as possible. But as I had virtually told Leander to go screw himself, all of his little followers avoided me like the plague. And when you're the star quarterback who's winning games for the town, you tend to have a lot of "friends."
That only left me with the Cullens, I had decided to accept them for whatever they are, unfortunately they were no where to be found.
On Monday I attended school but again, the Cullens were no where in sight.
Tuesday.
Wednesday rolled around and still I sign from the Cullen's, I headed home that day extremely worried that maybe they left. Jasper said they would leave peacefully, what's more "peaceful" than not causing a ruckus with prolonged goodbyes?
My eyes pricked with tears springing forward.
I turned my car around and decided to go by their house, but as I reached the main entry way it was almost unrecognizable from the house I had seen only twice before.
No longer were the grounds well kept and well groomed, also from just passing I could see that dark shades had been put in the windows. The sight of their house rocked me and I couldn't turn into the driveway so I continued driving straight until I reached the dead-end and turned back around.
I finally got home and went straight up to my room, I ask Marta not to bother me. She tends to go out and catch a movie when I want to be alone, and since my parents were still out of town I knew I would have absolute solidarity.
I sat on my bed and stared at my phone, there was only one Cullen's phone number I had and his name lit up my screen like a beacon calling to me.
I finally pressed his name and the phone began to place the call, I put the phone on speaker just incase he didn't answer then I could hang up right away.
It seemed to only ring three times before he answered.
"Hello?"
His smooth voice sang to my soul and instantly lifted my spirits.
But when I tried to talk the only thing that I could think of came out, "where are you?"
The line went silent for a moment before he answered.
