i sat down on my bed and laid down.

i really had a fun time with julia, she's amazing.

last week, i tried to contact her, i tried contacting all her numbers even the old ones, i cant on her social medias because she blocked me in it.

i sighed and just sat on my bed feeling hot tears run down my cheeks.

i heard a knock on my door and voice says, "honey, the family reunion's tomorrow, is it okay if we invite julia ?" mom said after she opened the door. me, wiping my dramatic tears with the hem of my shirt.

"y-yeah, sure." i said and sniffed.

"were you crying?" she asked and sat beside me.

"no, I'm not, mom." I said and forced a laugh.

"you are."

"fine. i was, i just remembered the sad scene at the movie i watched awhile ago." i lied.

"haha, ok, i understand, goodnight." she smiled, kissing my forehead and walking out the door afterwards.

once she closed the door, i got my phone and called julia.

[Hello, jacob?]

"hey, juls. um, i just wanna say that mom's inviting you tomorrow at the family reunion at 5:30."

[I cant come, i have a shooting tomorrow!]

"please, baby?"

[Dont call me that! *groaned*]

"pretty... please.. julia??"

[I'm sorry, i really cant, the shooting's at 8 o'clock and i dont wanna skip one again.]

"*sighed* I'll just tell my mom then, bye juls."

I ended the call and just chilled thinking of what should i do with my plain, boring life.

it's almost 5 o' clock and i never wanted to get ready, mom and dad's downstairs preparing the food they're gonna bring at the reunion.

"jacob, someone's here for you!" dad yelled making me snap off my thoughts.

i didnt got up this bed since last night, im so responsible.

"jacob!" dad called again.

i swear if thats mark or ch-

"hey, jacob." julia said with a smile.

"woah- hello, come in." i said my eyes glued at the outfit she was wearing and how beautiful she looks.

she walked in, me intertwining our hands as i lead her to the kitchen.

"dad this is julia, my girlfriend. julia, this is rolf, my dad." I said making julia giggle.

julia waved shyly, "nice to meet you." dad smiled.

i never seen him smile for a long time now.

I signaled julia to come with me upstairs so she did.

As she got in, she sat on the bed looking around, as if she never been here before.

"why do you act so different today?" I asked.

"why would you say that?" she said looking up at me.

"you look shy and girly, I'm not really used to it." I awkwardly said sitting beside her.

"i just thought I'll change the way i act, you know I'm really tired of being judged." she shrugs.

"you know, you're beautiful." i compliment, meaning every word.

"thanks, i guess?" she giggled.

"what brought you here? I thought you cant come?" I asked.

"i really wanted to come, i was just playing you." she laughs.

"that's not really good." i joked laughing and she joined in.

we just stayed there sitting, the silence making me deaf. i only hear mom and dad at the kitchen and the pressure cooker is the only thing i can hear.

I'm always having this thoughts that's telling that i should just kiss her right away, but that will just make her hate me 100 times more.
