epilogue

"jacob? can i atleast talk to you in person?" julia asked the boy who's in the other line.

it has been two weeks since their drama and after that things went good again, that's what she thinks.

"yeah, ofcourse." jacob responded, coldly.

"um, okay." she says.

"..."

they were silent for seconds, jacob laughed, "i-i'm on my way. see you," he said ending the call.

this is it, it's now or never. i'm gonna ask him to be my boyfriend, FOR REAL.

after pacing for a long period of time inside her house and try making up words to say to jacob later, the doorbell rang.

julia sprinted to the door, opening it and saw jacob standing there with a smile.

"hey cutie, long time no see." jacob said, julia's stomach dropped, that smile can easily melt her.

"why do you need me here?" he asked.

"i just wanna apologise for everything and that.. i wanna be more than friends. i want you to be my boyfriend, jacob. for real, this time." julia said, "at first i thought that bet we had was really dumb, until now though. i never thought i could catch feelings for someone this fast. i realized that, i love you."

jacob just stared into her eyes  in awe.

he was never mad mad. he was mad and sad because he thinks that julia never saw him as a lover but just a friend but now, the girl he always wanted had said those three words he was longing to hear, for real.

"i-" jacob tried making up a word but he cant.

"it's okay if you hate me now, it's all my fault after all." julia cut him off.

and then felt a pair of soft lips on hers.

it came back again, that cliche spark she felt the last time they kissed, it came back. neither of them wanted to pull away.

"i love you too. and yes, i'll be your boyfriend, for real."
